How about two-handed weapons? Like a battle axe with the shield attached to the shaft? Or double-swords with the shield attached to the handle of the left-handed sword? Or rifles with the shield attached to the barrel? Or double bombs? Or double-handguns? Think of the possibilities!

you mean that little white bar that you type into and then wait five minutes for it to spit out five unrelated threads? I prefer google. But yes. However you do it, please check that this hasn't been suggested hundreds of times before.

When I said Two Hundred identical threads on this topic, I wasn't exaggerating.

I see my nubby self from last year, but now I've seen the glory that is shield-bumping.
We already have two-handed weapons. We just don't have the appropriate combat stances animated for them.
Steering away from the previous argument, it could just be for aesthetic purposes, rather than allowing you to deal out twice as much damage as usual. it deals the same damage as with a single handed weapon, you have a shield but you look different.
