But by chasing a enemy that is head towards a CP, you are defending it by killing them
I keep my hud off because I usually click click around and then find myself click the C.E market
/Lock HUD.
Pretty sure that prevents clicking the CE Market.

There's just one tip I disagree with.
"Give no one mercy... chase if you have to"
Not exactly. The point of being a guardian is capping/defending and protecting your teammates, not chasing after enemies.
On a side note, I suggest paying more attention to your minimap. While you were camping the other team's base, a recon was off capping their home point.
