Autoguns

I've noticed with the latest update that autoguns no longer shoot in a straight line.

I for one welcome this change!

However there are still some things that bug me about them:

1. The initial delay before firing. It seems much longer than that of an alchemer, which makes it harder to line up my shot, or to hit enemies before they hit me.
2. There's a noticable delay between seeing the muzzle flash and seeing the bullets actually leaving the gun. It may be lag thing but I haven't noticed it happening with any other guns.
3. With other weapons, I can hold my mouse button down and be charging up immediately (after firing one shot almost instantly). With weapons like the autogun I have to wait for the normal attack to finish before I start charging, which is annoying when I only wanted to do a charge attack. It means the effective charging time is a lot longer.

I haven't really noticed much

I haven't really noticed much with number 1 or 2 but 3 I definitely agree with. It makes it really hard to use when you're being chased by gremlins =/ Though I understand the accuracy will offset its amazing range and damage. sometimes I somehow miss at point blank and I think the bullets shoot spray more like the charge attack instead of being shot at only 1 or 2 directions because it's really frustrating to miss constantly without a single hit.

Three definitely needs to

Three definitely needs to change with weapons.

I'd also like to say that they need to be able to move when firing, or have some other form of movement, because having no accuracy, but not being able to change your facing or move while firing for so long leaves you particularly gimped in that respect.

So far the spread change has

So far the spread change has really been to my liking. It used to be that an entire clip would fly left of the target, but now even 2 or 3 hits still connect.

The other 3 points I find to be very valid.

I just realised I never posted this before.

I have a real-life Autogun, no lies.

It just doesn't fire green blobs.

About the charging; Hold

About the charging;

Hold shield. While holding shield down, press and hold attack. Release shield. You are now charging your weapon.

I love that

I love that description!
There comes a time in every cube-dweller's life, when he or she has to take the law into his or her hands. Maybe it's finding out that stooge from marketing has stolen your last pencil...again! Or perhaps you're tired of having your office moved repeatedly. Well, it's time to draw a line in the low pile carpet. "No more," you'll cry as you stand your ground. With a Nerf Maverick by your side, you will prevail.
With a description like that, we need to see some devilites with these.

Works for me. Hmm. Maybe because I mapped attack and block to my mouse buttons?
