I've noticed with the latest update that autoguns no longer shoot in a straight line.
I for one welcome this change!
However there are still some things that bug me about them:
1. The initial delay before firing. It seems much longer than that of an alchemer, which makes it harder to line up my shot, or to hit enemies before they hit me.
2. There's a noticable delay between seeing the muzzle flash and seeing the bullets actually leaving the gun. It may be lag thing but I haven't noticed it happening with any other guns.
3. With other weapons, I can hold my mouse button down and be charging up immediately (after firing one shot almost instantly). With weapons like the autogun I have to wait for the normal attack to finish before I start charging, which is annoying when I only wanted to do a charge attack. It means the effective charging time is a lot longer.
I haven't really noticed much with number 1 or 2 but 3 I definitely agree with. It makes it really hard to use when you're being chased by gremlins =/ Though I understand the accuracy will offset its amazing range and damage. sometimes I somehow miss at point blank and I think the bullets shoot spray more like the charge attack instead of being shot at only 1 or 2 directions because it's really frustrating to miss constantly without a single hit.
