Armadillo monster for the Beast class

The Beast class is sorely lacking for variety. You have Wolvers, Chromas, Alpha Wolvers, and Snarby of course. Ret and a couple other guildees were talking and I just wrote down what they were saying (and am adding my own ideas to the mix).

Armadillos typically have extremely sharp claws and a hard outer shell that lets them curl into a ball. For attacks we were thinking that the Ash Walker (Ash Walkers are the enemies in Legion of Almire that start as statues and come alive. They have an attack similar to a Flourish charge.) attack could be re-used for it, just instead of shielding afterwards it turned itself into a ball (making it immune to attacks) or dug underground after a short delay. A second attack could be it turning itself into a ball and doing a quick rolling attack, if it hits a wall or a shielded knight it could become stunned for a second. The roll would be in a straight line, but would be fairly quick (at least in T3) so it's a threat.

For movement it could walk on all fours (more realistic), or could walk on 2 legs. When underground it could leave behind a temporary dug up earth trail, kind of like a Diglett for anybody that used to watch Pokemon. It can't be hit while underground.

yessss

I'd love to see Armadillos in the clockworks, some Swoopy birds and to hear Stun Gongs all day long
Armadillos.
Add them.

would be interesting if there

would be interesting if there was a baby version with no dig, fast attack.
and an adult version with shield, and slightly faster.

but , we need more new stuff regardless.

A younger version could be

A younger version could be added for T1, much like the younger versions of the Chromas. Although I think the dig thing would be a neat mechanic to keep around for all three tiers. And yes a slower version of the roll attack for T2 would be good, much like how the Kats move slower in the earlier Tiers.

OMG I LIKE THIS IDEA! I mean when they spin in a ball, it could be like a sonic animation! Like from the old sonic the hedgehog games! And it can even have the sonic charge sound too!

Basically I thumb up to all ideas for new monsters x)

And I also have an additional idea for this monster. My idea is that this would be able to make a demand for the "turtle shield" that anyone rarely use nowadays.
Let's say this monster's stunning time depends on the amount of health the shield has. The more health it has, the longer time they stun---thus defensive may be offensive. Those days, many "veterans" tend to take BTS/SSB because they think that offensive may be defensive; the faster you kill monsters, the less time the monsters have to attack you (i know this is not the only reason). They rarely use those defensive shield such as turtle shield, plate shield (i mean gunners and sword men). But if the stunning time depends on the amount of shield health, you can attack more if you have a high health shield. Hence defensive maybe offensive...you know what I mean? It is hard to explain my thought

Yo

Love the idea of a new beast class enemy! I wish they would make the damage uv's for all enemy types more useful. Armadillos would be a cool new enemy to include in the game. The idea of the armadillo using their shell as like a shield is a brilliant idea, very similar to a turtle. I also love the idea of the armadillo rolling at the players for an attack and getting stunned but instead of hitting something, i feel like it should just happen after the rolling animation is finished. I feel like areas are generally too small and the armadillos would constantly be hitting the walls. As far as digging underground, i like the idea but think it would be a problem because of the similarness of the wolvers going underground and then popping up elsewhere. Having both enemies in the same area i feel as if this would be either really difficult or really annoying.

I have thought of this new beast before:
by using the wheel mechanics from KoA and a new simple aiming mechanism it would be a cool new monster to the beast class.

+1 to more variety for the Beast family, which only has two monster types (three if you count Alphas and basic Wolvers to be truly separate). The burrowing ability and rolling would be interesting to work with, as an enemy that requires some strategy to deal with.

I support it, but the armadillo could have a scratch attack and roll to move.
