I have yet, made another poll thread, and it's a question that I'm curious about. So, how do you react to when you get a crown? How much is a crown worth to you?

I think everybody will say they wouldn't care about a small amount of crowns, but begin charging insignificant amounts of crown for items, and you get a whole different story. Try charging for pills and pods during an FSC run, if somebody asks (though this is rare). When you tell people that you will charge them some insignificant amount for something they will generally get for free, no matter how insignificant, they will become infuriated. Don't even think of asking for crowns to res someone, no matter how miniscule the amount!
Another good thing to try is, instead of tabbing someone when they say they need it, charging them the same energy value you would expect reasonable for such a tab. Even when they've clearly earned enough crowns to offset the cost during the run, you will see how they will still try to weasel a free tab out of you or try to get energy at a much lower cost than the market rate. I've even met people who ask for tabs, saying they have no energy, completely oblivious to the fact that there's an party indicator proving them otherwise.
A lot of people place an inherent subconscious value to a miniscule amount of crowns, even when they wouldn't add up to a cent. This doesn't apply to everyone. For those that it doesn't apply to, cheers!

I'd say I value one crown at about 1/2 of a crown. Likewise, I value 1000 crowns at about 1200 crowns and so on, with spikes at specific points such as at 25K crowns being equal to 25-27K crowns where both are to be valued at about 31K CR. 200K CR is equal to 300K CR or maybe more.

Worth it.
It is worth chopping some bushes or torches down as those add up. I've probably made over 100,000 crowns from bushes/torches over my knight-span.

I've done the math
It's worth 0.39 seconds of my playing (Vana) time. So unless I'm able to pick one up in around that time, it's not worth getting.
It's worth becomes 0.25 seconds of my time if I'm using mist.

Being the scrooge I am, 1 cr is very worth the extra few seconds needed to break those two "candlesticks" over there.
That's why I'm always slowing the other knights down in FSC - breaking every single breakable object I see along the way :D

In the long run 1 crown.. is 1 crown. I don't care about 1 crown myself, but I could see people getting mad if people started charging per rev. Per invite, per anything that should actually be free.

In the current SK economy,
In the current SK economy, 1cr to me is about 1/72th of a ce, or 0.0138ce. Yea, it still doesn't stop me from hitting every small bush, and every torch in every level I play (yay for flourish or DVS lines). Even if it gets me +6 more crowns per vana level, it's still +24cr for the 4 fsc levels. Worth it when all you do most of SK days is JK/Twins/Vana runs xD

How much is 1 cr?
Hmm... 7200 cr is 100 ce so 1 ce is 72 cr.
2.45$ is 750 ce. Therefore 1 ce is 2.45/750.
So 72 cr = 2.45/759 $
or 1 Crown = 0.00004483238$ to me :)

I like picking them up when
I like picking them up when I'm in a full party, even though I'm only getting 1 cr, it's worth +1 cr for every person in the party so to me, it's worth whatever the amount of people are in my party. I still pick them up if I'm soloing.
