You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

I just wanna hug them ♥

You know, that's the first thing that went through my head when I looked at them....somehow they look really adorable and painful at the same time.

Still doesn't rival a mewkat, though...

It looks like Jellies and Shankles had a baby... I'll dub them the Shellies... OR SOMETHING.

So something I've been wondering. With new added enemies will these be perma? Or Event-only?

INB4 feind (unless dustys are), robot, and gremlin ones.

Yep. I'm now sure of it. These are permanent, and will come with battle sprites. I mean, what else could it be? They wouldn't make 3 (probably 6 actually) new monsters just for an event. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go shout about these in Haven 1. Cyan.

I bet there's going to be one for each family... we've seen beast, undead and now slime, so that leaves only fiend, gremlin and construct.

If I am correct, then there may well be a new element of the game. Right now, whenever you find a room or segment, that part can have a set of enemies based on a 'family variable'. The update could be adding a whole new set of enemies for a whole new set of situations. This is my hope.

Glob drops...

All I know, is that they want to buff something of the weaker classes(undead is eh as the dms have harder ones) before releasing the nerf weaps.

I smell a mega update coming

Hoping for:
6 new enemy types, (maybe tortodrones), new clockwork maps, a magnus line buff/change, maybe even some new lore/missions.

Maybe.

I really want this.

And then all the still broken, unbalanced, and ignored content is still ignored.

Unless they actually address all that so I can eat my words with some expired pasta sauce and molding parmesan. But on top of those sentence noodles, all covered in what tastes like fleece, there lies a radioactive meatball, someone shoot it please. Just pick up a pistol, aim between its third and fourth eyes, end that unholy abomination, it has to die.

That got dark for no reason all of a sudden. But in all seriousness I still expect them to fix what we have no matter how many flying, oozing, wedgie-giving giraffes they throw at us with all their glitter and frilly pink tights. Because giraffes wear tights. In my world. Would you like to visit my world? We would have a jolly good time, feasting on the souls of unsuspecting shellfish before smelling their tantalizing gardens of leather pants. After lunch we can have tea while floating in space, pouring our cups over the stars as they frolic in the afternoon sky in their skimpy bikinis as the boiling liquid burns off their fl-

And then Luguiru was hauled away to the back room, never to be seen again.

Brute Jelly anyone?

Think about it, there is NO brute jelly in-game. Ice cubes don't count.

yay!

this jelly leaves only 2 altenatives: 1 per monster family (3 to go then) or one per defense type (0 to go). I really hope the first one. some more CW levels are what we need, and I think that there will be more of that with the monsters. I hope. really really hope.
that leaves us with construct, fiend and gremlin. I would say that I can't wait, but that would require me to haunt down cherub. and I don't want to right now.

Answers and stuff...

I am going to throw glop drops in the category of swarm monsters since the picture of them has multiple in the background like the other two swarm types.
As for them being permanent I would say so since they are coming with Battle Sprites since nick said,"Neither dust bunnies nor grave scarabs are battle sprites. Rather, sprites will serve you well in fending off swarms of these guys."

Since swarm monsters are linked with Battle Sprites which will be having missions to unlock them...new missions are pretty much a guarantee.

I was also thinking they may do the swarm monsters based off damage type but...since only a very select few slime family monsters can perform elemental damage I would say glop drops will either do normal and/or piercing damage. So it looks like they are doing it based of monster families. If this is the case I really look forward to what the construct swarm monster will be.

One last thing, these "cute" glop drops with there slime and spikes, I don't see how anyone would get the urge to hug or kiss a slimy spike ball...gross and painful

If gremlin knockers are considered a swarming enemy, then the constructs have scuttlebots. Right?

@Alternate-Dragon

I think they will be making swarm monsters for all families...for slimes it was thought they may use mini jellies as the swarm monster but they made glob dobs, we will have to wait and see for now.

Why do I have the feeling that on April first, they will release an update with the patch notes being "Psych! We haven't actually been working on any new things, have fun doing nothing."

Gremlin Knockers need to

Gremlin Knockers need to spawn at a rate of 2/3 per spawn point rather than just 1 per spawn point if they want to be true swarmers (ie. in place of 1 thwacker, 2/3 knockers should spawn. Currently only 1 knocker will spawn).

Hopefully the new swarm monsters spawn in large amounts. Screenshots of the dust bunnies look promising.
