Warning! The clockworks have been compromised. The Forces of zombies have overrun our defenses and are destroying everything we have known here on this foreign planet. It is up to you and your friends to save Haven and all of the peaceful inhabitants of the clockworks.

So my idea consists of a COD like zombie survival event where you go through levels fighting of a certain number of waves. The places I was mostly thinking of were Boss levels for now and a separate mission set aside to defend Haven as long as you can. Now It does still cost 10 mist/CE to go down and you can revive.

On to the actual structure of the levels. Take for example the second level of Vanaduke. Most of you know that at the beginning there is a giant sprite that opens the four gates, well take him out and with every zombie you kill you get credits for them so once you get enough credits you can pay to open one of the four gates. You may be thinking, "why not just keep you getting plain crowns?" Well I think that once you make it as far as you can go and you return to Haven, those credits turn into crowns.

Where would you find these

I'm not quite sure about that, that's where you guys come in. I was thinking about either in the colesium because at the end the person with the most credits(crowns) gets a bonus amount. Or the other option is a seperate mission catagory or clockworks gate. Now for that you may just think that a 1* or 2* person can just say, "Oh, I feel like doin' the Vana zombie mission." Well unless they beat the other ones(Snarby first, Jk next, Followed by the twins, and finally vana) they can't do van, they HAVE to be beaten in order of difficulty.

Types of monsters(Zombles) at each type of bossy level:

Snarbolax:
A black T1 kind of zombie that when breaths, shoots out spikes for the piercing damage. Also I think that there could be some Snarby Dust Bunnies, or grave scarabs.(https://plus.google.com/+spiralknights/posts)[scroll down] They will drop less credits because of the lower tier.

Jelly king:
Not quite sure, Suggestions wanted!!

Twins:
Mostly shock zombies and some fire one. They will drop more credit(higher tier)

Vanaduke:
Fire zombies all the way, much more credit drops.

Feel free to post any ideas you have. Constructive criticism is OK to me. ;P

Another thing, I have never played COD Zombies, just seen it played so if i have something wrong feel free....

Thanks for your time in reading this!!

All you need is a shivermist and you can do it for as long as you want. Just some status resist to negate their breath.
They won't be able to damge you (except for that new snarby zombie spitting spikes)

At least it should have a time limit to prevent such cheap tactics.

You have one significant problem

Zombies are one of the easiest enemies in the game. Get a DA, a brandish, a Shiver, or a Polaris, and you'll never lose.

Also, unlockable difficulty levels are generally a bad thing and cause skilled players to get frustrated by having to play easy and medium difficulties before getting to the challenging one. You should probably just make it linked to mission rank or Tier clearance.

Hm coupla things

1. I dont understand why everyone loves CoD. Its not actually that good (opinion wise)
2. Agreeing with Klipik, zombies ARE incredibly easy. Make them buffed zombies, with more damage and more health, and just maybe, a shorter attack delay?
3. Boss related zombies? I would like to see how that turns out...

Agree

I agree with all three of you. They should have more health and there should be boss zombies. I was thinking that there would be those bomb zombies there as well. In reference to CoD, I'm not really a fan either, I just thought it would be interesting to fight them in waves on sk. :3

Thanks

Shadow Lair.

Darker version. No need for a third version of it.... Or 101th version of them

Hmm....

@Skyguarder What exactly do you mean by, "No need for a third version of it?" But I'm assuming that when you say, Shadow Lair that you mean just to add a new type?

@Alternate-Dragon I see what you mean.

Any +1's yet? :>

Inspiration :D

I really like your Idea to be honest! It would be nice (in my opinion) if something like this was added into the game. Maybe on Friday the 13th! Anyway so this is what came to my mind when I read your post.

Floors:

I think that it would be best if this was like a sort of arena, but not like the original arenas; something different. So I was thinking of an arena with 6 floors. They would be zombie survival-like and include a Boss well, apart from the first one.
Floor 1: --No boss--
Floor 2: Snarbolax
Floor 3: Jelly king
Floor 4: Roarmulus Twins (...Kind of hard to imagine the twins undead, I mean what would they attack with? Rockets and Lazers?)
Floor 5: King Zombrock
Floor 6: Vanaduke Ressurected (Optional Floor)

3 waves of zombles every floor - Boss on 3rd wave. You get sometime to change loadouts before the next wave begins. Between all floors you would get some of them healing pads.

Where? The Coliseum!

I think the coliseum would be a nice place to have this as this so that you can do the survival mission with 8 people or less or with guild.

Monsters:

Obviously, the zombies would be in the undead family but what I just can't get my head over is that the abilities I would give zombies, skeletons already have. For example the slow walk as if one leg is shorter than the other, The rising ability after you've killed them, the Status breath and the forward jump that they do. Making the zombies have the same abilities as the skeletons is not a problem at all but then again something unexpected would be nice for them to have.
Zombie - Simple, nothing special. normal skeleton attacks
Infectious Zombie (Poison) - Normal attacks with moderate chance of medium poison
Plague Zombie (poison) - After getting attacked once, glows then explodes with releasing poison gas
Zombie Juggernaught - Very slow but strong attacks

Rewards and stuff...

-The Knight who dealt the most damage will get 3 extra krogmo coins, 2nd will get 2 and 3rd will get 1 .This also includes the krogmo tokens that you get per floor...which is 2. Too much? Yes it means that you can get 12 tokens in total but then again you ARE going to get SWARMED by zombies which deal a lot of damage. If you don't have enough time to go heal yourself and/or change your load out then too bad.
-There will be prize boxes after beating a floor afcourse.
-Ermm yeah the floors go down still...

Sorry for a lot of writing... >_<

Wow

Wow, I really like those ideas!! Only 1 question... when you mentioned the different types of zombies you only mentioned poison, is that the only kind that would be faced?

I love the part with the more players in a party!!! so guildies can do it together and such :DD
