MY GEAR
Helm: Vog Increased elemental defence med (Extra defense = awesome)
Armor: Vog shock resist Maximum! (Good for if you get stuck in trojan boosts)
Weapon 1: Glacius CTR high lvl 10 (my main weapon. I use this more than anything.)
Weapon 2: Divine avenger ASI medium (I use this for knockback when im cornered.)
Weapon 3: Argent peacemaker (GREAT for knocking back trojans! amazing damage on slags!)
Weapon 4: Blitz Needle ASI low (For trojans and vanaduke.)
Sheild: Volcanic plate sheild (Piercing high)
SWORDIE GEAR
Helm: Vog
Armor Vog
Weapon 1: Anything from brandish line (Exept Acheron and Cautery sword duh)
Weapon 2: Divine avenger
Weapon 3: Final Flourish
Weapon 4: Blitz needle
Sheild: CoA/ GOS/ VPS
GUNNER GEAR
Helm: Deadshot Chapeau/Perfect Mask of Seerus
Armor: Deadshot Mantle/Shadowsun Slicker
Weapon 1: Polaris
Weapon 2: AP
Weapon 3: Blitz Needle
Weapon 4: Elemental sword for backup
Sheild: Swift Strike/ Swordie sheilds
BOMBER GEAR
Helm: Any bomber helm
Armor: Any bomber armor
Weapon 1: Shiv
Weapon 2: Nitro
Weapon 3: Electron Vortex
Weapon 4: Voltiac Tempest
Sheild: Anything with reasonable defense in FSC
(Note if this bomber loadout sucks, dont judge me I know nearly nothing about bombs anyway.)
HYBRID GEAR

my opinion

I think the DBB is better than the nitro. The same damage. The same detonation. The DBB is not knocking out your opponents, easier to hunt down the monsters. shock reduces knockback, but if you are using a DBB is not required to release more slot. My only two slot use if you should decide to choose Shiver and electron vortex.

Why would you carry multiple wepons with the same purpose. Instead of a branidsh AND a DA or Flourish with a blitz, you could carry a Levi or DVS for mask and burning oilers. Even an acheron for those few slimes would be more usefull if you're going 4 slots..

Helmet: Chaos Helm
Armor: Chaos Cloak
Shield: Swift Strike

Weapons:
Neutralyzer
Blitz Needle
Whatever Brandish
Electron Vortex

Very High Attack, Max CTR, and High Speed. Vortex for a way to gather all of your enemies then either hit them all with a Brandish charge. Blitz for shotgunning enemies and killing Vana. Neutralyzer handles any and all turrets and can also clear crowds amazingly fast, especially if everyone in the group has it. This is a good build for both soloing and team play.

Trinkets:
CTR med for Sword
Damage med for sword

Armor:
Seerus Mask : Fire resist - CTR med ASI low for guns - Normal def for the mace
Snarbolax Coat : Shadow def (zombies-trojans) - Sword damage med. - Normal def for the mace
Barbarous Thorn Shield : Pierce def. (spikes mostly) - sword damage med.

Weapons:

Voltedge => CTR VH - Damage Max (the main "team-friendly" damage dealer)
Shivermist Buster (between phases of Lord Vanaduke) // Barbarous Thorn Blade ( for duo or solo )
Blitz Needle => CTR VH - ASI Low (for the Lord himself - OS trojans quickly)
Argent Peacemaker => CTR VH - ASI Low (finishing zombies - breaking crystals,etc - breaking wheels)

Never get too much issues with the set, a few Unique Variants in addition don't hurt ;)

Forget your fancy schmancy status protection max UVs and extra slots, I'm a cheapskate.
(Other than the Kat Cowl, but then that was something I had as a drop in the first place...)
But if I had the extra slots then I'd take my Sentenza and DVS.

@Little-Juances I find that a lvl 10 glacius does pretty well against oilers. But yeah what you said is a good idea.

The "best gear" depends heavily on your abilities.

*Bring the VPS if you have trouble with Spike Wheels, spike traps (thx to the UV), Trojans, Rocket Puppies, Slag Guards, or Vana's mace
*Bring the GOS if you have trouble with shadow fire, elemental grates, Red Rovers, Vana's mask bullets, or Vana's fireballs
*Bring the CoA if you have trouble with Slags Walkers or the Trojan Attack Buffs. Should also be decent against Trojans.

*If you want to focus on killing Vanaduke and Trojans quickly, bring your Perfect Mask of Seerus and Blitz Needle.
*Polaris and Argent Peacemaker are still great weapons for killing Vanaduke because they keep you mobile.
*Polaris is great against the gun puppies, and AP is great against Slag Walkers.
*Glacius should be used for crowd control purposes, and for freezing fiery Oilers (if they're a problem for you).
*Divine Avenger is fantastic for slaying numerous Slag Walkers at once and keeping enemies at range. It can also OHKO puppies if you are positioned right.
*Final Flourish is a great crowd-control weapon. I would actually recommend bringing it if it wasn't terrible at destroying constructs.
*If your teammates have shard bombs, then bring either SSS or DCB.

*Bring Vog Cub if you're a swordsman, or if you have trouble with elemental damage sources.
*Bring Deadshot if you're a gunslinger.
*Bring Volcanic Demo if you're a bomber.
*Use the Perfect Mask of Seerus in place of any of these sets' helmets if you are using your Blitz Needle with any frequency.

what I read that as ^

Bring Chaos set if you're a swordsman.
Bring Chaos set if you're a gunslinger.
Bring Chaos set if you're a bomber.
Use Chaos set in place of any other pieces if you like to use Blitz Needle and can't be bothered to get trolled by Punch or pay exorbitant prices for an UVed Autogun.

Bring Swiftstrike if you're a swordsman or gunslinger and don't find yourself using your shield for much short of shieldbumping, and have the hang of pinging.
There is some point to bringing a BTS if you're a swordsman, since part of the bonus from the Swiftstrike would be wasted if you're using full Vog Cub.

Nova, Storm and Hail are great against the assorted puppies; the former probably more than the latter, although Hail can freeze turrets in place so they can't fire at you. I see your turret suppression and take out your turret in one charge. Nyuk nyuk.
If your teammates are bringing shards, pack a Vortex. Actually, if your teammates are bringing any kind of weapon whatsoever other than a Shivermist Buster, pack a Vortex. And even then, pack a Vortex anyway.
DVS is boss against the mask. It's also boss on ignited Oilers. Just don't feel the urge to use the whole combo, and don't charge unless it's done carefully on turrets/mask. Pretty much any split normal weapon will do reasonably, due to the normal damage component of the weapon; Glacius can be a bit iffy since Oilers can be reignited after freezing, healing the damage you just did.

My Superpowerful defense in FSC in my opinion

+Grey Feather Cowl + Mantle: If Grey Owlite Shield is the best for Vana, then Grey Feather Mantle and Cowl are just the same.
+Crest of Almire: Arguable between this shield or Grey Owlite Shield.
+Weapon 1: Voltedge: Shock and elemental.
+Weapon 2: Supernova: The only weapon I can solo Vanaduke with.
+Weapon 3: Dark Briar Barrage: Best damage bomb in the game.
+Weapon 4: Shivermist Buster/Electron Vortex: Best Crowd Control Bomb in the game.

The only set I can see that's better than mine is the Volcanic Plate Set for FSC and Vanaduke.

^ Do you mean the boss battle or the whole run? I use an Argent Peacemaker as my main weapon for FSC and it does the job just fine. It's fast and flexible and works on everything, if you don't mind everything taking a bit longer to kill. You do need to have damage boosts though.

catalyzer charge got absorbed by his fire orbs. Well, you can kill with normal bullets but that's no fun. Q__Q
I guess it's almost the same as full swordie strategy when you want to play with catalyzers.
Blitz still faster to kill zombies than AP, btw.

Would Barbarous Thorn Blade be good to take?

Would the Barbarous Thorn Blade be good in place of the Final Flourish? The only difference is charge attack, so what are the pro's and cons of both swords in FSC?

Barbarous thorn blade you would use the charge more for slags and stuff
which isnt really good or bad.
Final Flourish you would use for picking off trojans (and using the charge attack on them) which you can do with the Barbarous Thorn Blade.
So bring either! If anyone tries to stop you, with hard shoes on i will step on their toe!
