How do you use guns in LD? :s
I played a few matches of Tier 2 lockdown and got absolutely obliterated.
I was using the gunslinger set with a super blaster and an antigua. It was absolutely impossible for me to land a shot on anyone even though i was aiming directly at them and they were moving in straight lines towards me D:
I ended the game with 300damage ._.
I spectated 2 fellow aussie gunners in T3 a few weeks ago. They got pretty good damage like 10k-11k+ for a few games. I dont remember their names because they were really long but one of em told me to just use swords and the other seemed really hostile and a bit racist. I didn't really get much help from these guys :\
anyone got any tips for an aussie thats gonna try out LD gunning?
I too had your problems, A super blaster doesn't do much damage in T2 and neither does the antigua. So I would suggest the following for T2 lockdown gunning
Weapons:
Shadowtech/Prismatech MK II
Voltech MK II
Cryotech MK II
Kilowatt pulsar
Trinkets:
slot one:Tri-heart pendant
slot two:Tri-heart pendant
Helmet:
Gunslinger cap
Cyclops cap (after you get to the point where you can avoid damage really well)
Armor:
Gunslinger sash
Tips: Guns are weird, unlike swords you have to aim ahead, even if it looks like you hit them on your screen on their screen it looks like you didn't.
