What if the Metal Sonic set were actual 0* equipment and offered High MSI/Low ASI apiece?

I can only just fathom at the fast craze to be experienced running through levels and Lockdown. In my moderated time dreaming about how fast it would feel to run with Movement Speed Increase on Maximum!, this idea seems the most reasonable considering the set's background and description.

It would fit right into the Suggestion board, were it actually a suggestion. Seeing as we'll not see the costume set get any sort of drastic change ever, I simply would like to see the more general crowd discuss the subject.

The devs have stated that MSI is counter to what they want in the game, since they want the members of the party to stick together. Therefore, request denied.

It's not a rule, it's logic.

Especially since the promotion is pretty much over; you're rewarding the people who bought it, without generating any real incentive to obtain the equipment after the promotion: Who would spend several thousand CE for 0 star equipment? ASI low is pretty miserable as an alternative to Chaos.
