So after checking out that new UI everyone's been talking about, I thought I'd speculate on what it might look like if you were in a full party:

Yup, looks good to me. :P

lol ^^
I think we all agree (both the people who like and dislike the UI changes) that the huge image of ourselves ought to be changed.
Have everything be hideable too, for screenshot and anti-clutter's sake.
Yet another person who didn't bother to read Nick's subsequent comment that party health will be shown much like how it is now.
Nice troll but I hope those good at Photoshop and design can make a improved alternative UI based on the current feedbacks though.
Sorry if that came across as a troll. ^^"
I was just thinking how humorously cluttered it would look if the entire party's health bars were to be the same size, so I did a little cut-up of it to test it lol.
But I do agree with Hexzyle though - the portraits seem unnecessarily large to me. :\
Fail.
Half of the screen is taken over by the health? Sorry, I don't think so. Nice try.
So where are the other 3 copies of that one knight in fighting?
I think health bars would be more concise and simple if they were displayed as a fraction instead of showing every single bar. Say you have twenty bars but are down eight from an attack, you would be at 12/20 bars. It may not look fancy or clutter up the screen but it gives you the information you and your team want to know without having to sit and count. I would also replace the rank with your average star rating in your current loadout since it more accurately describes your "level" and not everyone does missions or have a fitting rank for their arsenal or competence.
What are you trying to do, make on screen menus practical and immediately useful without all the smoke and mirrors that could be cluttering up your screen and making you take longer to do things which should be instantaneous?
Yes, Vernon. And you are once again an active forum gag. Welcome back to hell.
You son of a bi-
While I personally like the 12/20 idea, it may be difficult for people who can't quickly visualize exactly how much the equivalent of that fraction is. Bars (or some derivation thereof) are used in just about any game I've played that has an exact health indicator. But you could always use percentages instead like in BF3 since that setup is usually pretty easy to figure out at a glance. Don't know exactly how it would work from a coding standpoint with their current damage system, but converting values to percentages is (as far as my limited programming experience goes) usually pretty easy.
all of the same size? I don't think so.
and no, it does not look good. ambush from the left side.
