matter of opinions. like a guy will tell you would be best you use vog as another guy will tell you use full skolver, in the end, you would still feel a doubt because you will be thinking about if you made the correct choice to believe the guy who tell you use skolver or the guy who tell you use vog.

if you have used leviathan (i guess because you have to make it tempered calibur then ascended then leviathan) you know that sword will make some of your party members being mad with you when you use the charge attack and push the enemies to your friends or away from your friends. so you prolly will want use the sword when you go solo or when you get a lot of enemies being after you and away from friends.

probably will be good for you to have another weapon when you go in party just to avoid people whine when you take your leviathan ready for the fight.

Wyvern scale shield its good but prolly you will want to keep it away from monsters that deals normal or shadow damage since drake scale dont have Normal defense and shadow defense (like any other shield) just take care that your shield dont take lot of damage.

so... dont worry about what people tell about your armors if it works for you then good if not then you can work with your actual gear to farm more Cr / CE to make another gear. so dont think about what people will say about you.

Now if you worry about people join to a guild with good people in them, and stop doing PUG runs (Pick up groups). since most of the people that worries you are in those groups.

Experts on this will give you advice at the Arsenal, not the General Discussion. Move this and DON'T leave a shadow copy.

For weapons

Get a voltedge. Or a shivermist, or a blitz needle.

right

As the others have said, please move this thread to the Arsenal forum; that forum exists for such threads.

You haven't mentioned what your second weapon is (or third, ...).

You're currently working toward a Dragon Scale shield, which is widely considered to be the worst shield in the game, due to the lack of normal protection. Switch to just about anything else.

I have a detailed sword guide that may help you.

I can't judge your love from the dispassionate display of a forum thread, but I'm sure that if you sent me a friend request in game I'd surely be able to -

...oh, wait, you didn't mean that kind of amor.

*cough*

Your armour looks reasonable. Divine Veil and Skolver is one of the most commonly used all-round sets in the game, and with pretty good reason: many people use some kind of sword in their loadouts, and the status defences are pretty good. Even if it doesn't perform spectacularly in any situation, it will always do a pretty decent job of protecting you.

Wyvern Scale, unfortunately, isn't really a good shield. Most monsters even in t3 will do some component of normal damage in melee attacks, and if you're a swordsman then you're going to have to use your shield frequently to protect against them. Wyvern doesn't have any normal defence at all; in the vast majority of situations, you would be better off taking a different shield, possibly Barbarous Thorn (which doesn't have status resistance, but gets normal defence and a nice Med damage bonus for swords to boot), or Grey Owlite, Dread Skelly, Crest of Almire, or one of the Plate shields.

Leviathan deals normal damage. You're not really going to be killing most things particularly quickly with it. You would probably be better off with a weapon that does some kind of specialised damage, but if you prefer normal damage for all situations then I won't argue with you; it will perform reasonably in most situations.

What are you using in your second weapon slot? Personally, I'd partner your sword with some kind of gun, if only for the sake of killing off turrets and other enemies from a distance, something that your Leviathan Blade isn't capable of. An elemental Driver or Argent Peacemaker would perform well at this task, or a Polaris if you're only looking for a weapon for the sake of killing turrets.

Divine veil Skolver Coat FTW!

LoL. that used to be the same setup when i turned 5star. mostly.
Divine Veil (Elemental + Shadow Defense) and Skolver Coat (Normal and Pierce Defense) = 4 way split between all the damage type. Safe Set to use.
Actually, pretty good in LD.
and that Leviathan Blade....classic.

Dude. Your awesome.
