New update
Devs really don't tell us when the next one will be. It's supposed to be a surprise! It could be:
- whenever you open the Spiral knights.exe and you get the notice that the game is patching.
- Whenever you get mail regarding Spiral Knights patches!

I think it is basically guaranteed that the cake boss will return. Why wouldn't Three Rings reuse it?

April 4th.
Just remember, Spiral Knight's 2nd Anniversary is on Thursday. Perhaps we may get some more news, or a possible release on that day that might include the new UI. Maybe even Battle Sprites if we get lucky enough, along with the Swarm-like enemies. Until then, we'll just have to wait and see.

A Wednesday is when they update usually, so just expect every wendsday, probably not tommarrow though.
