I am ready to buy a new monitor/screen and I am considering a 30 inch 2560x1600 or 27 inch 2560x1440 along with some good standard 24 inch 1920x1200/1080 monitors. Spiral knight is almost the only game I play so it primarily decides which resolution to go with. After research, some said that spiral knights does not gain more field of view with resolutions higher than 1080p or 1200p while some say that the extra resolution can help in seeing more the map and monsters. Do you think Spiral knights takes advantage of extremely high resolutions or no?
Thanks

Yep

It works surprisingly well, even on what would be considered exotic setups. Check out some preview images here:

all good but...

It does seem to have some heavy distortion towards the edges as we get wider resolutions....Maybe because the setup in the wsgf website is not in good porportions? (too wide compared to the height). Maybe expanding the resolution both ways (height and width) would fix this problem?
