OOO needs to do this once in a while. Preferably more than once, and more frequently than a while. Underdeveloped threads, rage threads, troll threads, etc have become more than a slight annoyance to us forum regulars. There are so many of them now, they actively get in the way of useful discussions. Countless well-developed, good ideas by respected forumers get whisked off the front page by one-line suggestions saying "herp derp, put this in because it wud bee kewl and I wants it". OOO needs to do something about those threads. it's not something the community can control, since most of the people who post that type of suggestion either are new and don't know the rules, or old but just don't care. Make the search bar better. Hire forum mods. Force people to read the forum rules like the terms of service before they can make their first post. Something, anything, to stop or at the very least slow the flow of underdeveloped, repeated, badly presented threads.
Also on that subject, threads about certain topics (you know what I'm talking about) tend to get tremendous amounts of hate and quickly turn into flame wars. GMs have gotten involved in those once or twice, usually when the personal insults start flying. In reality, it should happen many times as often. So many threads (no pointing fingers) are instantly engulfed in flames, and any hope of discussing the actual topic is destroyed. No GM interventions in those, except for prior exceptions. Those are the kinds of threads that will never get anything done, but continue to be pushed back to the top of the forum because of arguments. A simple "tone down the argument please" or something similar would stop a large part of this.
Regurgitated ideas are one of the biggest sources of clutter in the Suggestions forum; over the course of a few months an idea might be suggested in the exact same way by three or four different people. An extremely easy way to fix this is to fix the [redacted] search bar so that it takes less than a minute to load results that are only relevant half the time. Also promotion of the forum rules would be nice. Right now, the forum rules are stickied to the top of every forum. That seems like it should be enough, but it's really not. There could be a screen during the forum registration, that would basically display the forum rules as a T&C and make you agree to them before using the forums. Not everyone would read it, but hey. It's the closest you can get to reading it aloud in our faces. Forum mods would be a good addition to the team, just to take some of the load off the GMs (Eury) and make it easier to cover all the forums.

As a final note to OOO: Please be more actively involved. I know GMs and devs have said that they read the forums, but posting, just casually, could help our confidence that someone is actually considering our ideas. In the end, it is the Suggestions forum after all, isn't it? Don't you want ideas on how to improve your game?
about [redacted] threads: agree.
about search bar: only needs to be improved; it works, but it's painfully slow.
about final note: you have read Hyperion answer to that in the "OOO is too secretive" discussion, haven't you?
