While the new features of the UI are somewhat useful, it does not have the ergonomic feel which is present in the old one. The borders around the minimap and mugshot are somewhat ugly and differ in style to the rest of the interface, the compass bearings are also useless.
The style of the new UI does not fit Spiral Knights. I liked the original style better, with it's simple and appealing layout and borders.
There are also some baneful attributes with the new UI, not having your Crowns or Crystal Energy infront of you for instance, I don't know about you but I like to see how much I have to ride on without having to open up my inventory or anything.
Another complaint I have is one that I would think to be controversial, and that is the visible health on the monsters. No, I do NOT like this idea, the thing that I liked a lot about grinding in the clockworks was the fact that it's hard to tell how much health an enemy had, only some behavioural traits like running away or a change in the sound effects would give it away, this is what made hacking and slashing fun, you feel like a real knight. I think mob health should stay in Runescape or LoL.
I know there are tonnes of these threads in the feedback section but maybe there's a reason for that. Thank you for your time.
