Danger Missions Should Give Tokens and The Problem With Prestige

Each danger mission should give 2 tokens- one for each of their levels. These tokens should be redeemable for weaponry, just like FSC coins, jelly gems, etc. are. This would buff the payout of danger missions up a notch, so as to make them as profitable as FSC.

FSC gives about 2K per floor over the course of 4 floors, but gives 3K on the 5th floor in the form of tokens. = 11K per run; or 2.2K per floor

Danger missions give about 1.3K per floor over the course of 2 floors (counting the final floor), and have no other rewards. = 2.6K per run; or 1.3K per floor

Obviously, danger missions are far harder (for most of the people I know, I did not poll the entirety of the playerbase, don't hurt me) than firestorm citadel, and as such should have good rewards of their own. If each token was valued the same as a token from FSC-

Danger missions would give 2 tokens worth 1K each at a vendor after buying a cheap 5* item with them. This would give out 2.3K per floor, making danger missions actually pay off.

The danger missions should have their own gear- this gear could easily be created by changing up damage types and charges. For instance, how awesome would it be to have a normal version of argent peacemaker that could suda-smash? Or a nitronome that dealt pure elemental or shadow? A shadow flourish that dropped a couple shard bomb shards on it's charge? Taking older elements of the game that were normally not paired together could make for some awesome combinations. It isn't hard to come up with hypothetical awesome new things using them, and would likely not be too hard to code up. But that is beside the point.

But wait, you say. Prestige must be highly valued! Well right now it really isn't, because there is no real use for it other than epeen- which is only valued by a few players.... woah.

Just remember danger missions are still tiered to rank. It could be kind of silly.
Due to the difficulty gap, a rank 5 knight might farm a 5* more easily than a Vanguard.
-not counting the fact that such under leveled knight has free access to high level weapons-

A small detail, I guess only the deepest version drops tokens?

Toxoil armor, and more gremlin weapons!

I agree with this, but there's 3 floor in a danger mission, level, level, prize vault :P.

This is why i don't play danger missions

No rewards
just another mission to waste your mist
no tokens, no rewards
and not enough crowns to get (if there is a mission that you get more crowns than vana runs tell me)
IF they DO make rewards
i would gladly play danger missions.

I could be wrong

The price vault......ok its fine

The prestige.....still fine

but it would be better to add tokens

I was just thinking of a similar idea. I was going to suggest that the Danger Missions give you tokens that you can use to buy Recon Ranger gear. They have their own unique equipment and it's not like it would break the game if they added them in as costume armor or something.

It could even be taken further by making the Ranger's spiked wristband an accessory that you can get for the tokens. There would be a number of different colors to show which Danger Mission you completed. This helps even more so even if new Danger Missions are added there can be a buffer item there while they think and create more sets for rewards from the Mission.

Also, and this is slightly off-topic, I think that FSC's absurd payout just needs to be flat out nerfed. Simplest way is at certain points, instead of FIVE brainlessly easy moneybag Zombies popping up, ONE tough Almirian Crusader spawns. It levels out the difficulty, nerfs the stupid payout, and makes the level more in line with the lore.

+1 to this idea and comment above ^

How about instead of giving a 5 star weapon you can buy a 5 star special mat and 2-3 star weapons that use corisponding materials. This way new players can get these items and mats to keep it from being game breaking.
