Spiral Knights not downloading latest patch

I was installing the new patch of Spiral Knights of April 3rd, but there is only a problem, the download screen is stuck at 25% for about 2 hours now, the counter of minutes is going up.
I tried to see if it was my connection with speedtest and many other websites, but there is no problem with my connection.
I am running Spiral Knights on steam for Mac
I tried downloading the launcher for the Mac from the official spiral knights website, it works just fine but I can't connect to my account because I am using my steam one.
Is there any way to log in with my Steam Account in the Mac Launcher or is there any way to fix the continuous up going counter.

this happened to me also how are they going to fix it find solutions figiure on your on your own find the solutions they arent going to fix an error like that might take months to work on the diagnostics or just try reasearching on solutions

When it hangs terribly for me, I just do a complete reinstall of SK. You can delete it via the library in Steam.

Also, doesn't Steam do the updating if you just leave it? I think I tried that and found it a lot less annoying. SK still had to validate the downloaded files though.
