Ok, many people have been complaining about the new update and blah blah. I really havent got time right now, Im really tired and I need to go to bed. But I feel the need to vent before sleeping. Im gonna be as straighforward as possible.
It sucks.
I havent elaborated enough, you say? Well, I mentioned I have no time, so here we go again:
It sucks a lot.
I can hear the groans and complaints already, so if you insist, I shall elaborate more.
Pros
- Scroll on chat
- HP bar on enemies
Cons
- Vials and capsules look... weird (IMO. The curse vial looks like a really bad attempt at a classic HP potion. I kinda liked carrying round pictures of vials.)
- No crowns and energy on interface... I have to press "I" to see it (much more convenient)
- Bland and boring white names on players (I dont need to know who my friends or guildmates are, I think I got that figured out -.-)
- Shield bar (I think we can tell if its gonna break, thanks very much)
Dont take me wrong, I love this game. Its really fun for me, and seeing this change kinda makes me wanna puke. I apologize, as I said, im very tired. I dont see how this new UI is more useful than the one before (except, ofc, for the scroll in the chat box). I dont have much to say right now, Ill update this if I need to. As other people said, it would be awesome if there was a revert option to go to the previous UI, if not remove the whole update. Ill probably review this tomorrow, farewell for now.
New UI is terrible. Now mostly it`s about looking up at health and shield bar and not seeing what is going on around. It`s like made for little kids instead of gamers.
Before it was way better. The lack of mist bar makes it unable to plan ahead when it comes to opening gates or advancing floors.
The notifications about full vials inventory, like what is that for? don`t tell me it was possible to run over a vial 100 times to pick up more than 3 vials.
and the new graphics for the vials and others. Terrible. they blend in with the background and i can only recognize fire and ice vial. and poison.
but yeah, the scrolling on the chat is cool. and that`s about it.
Maybe shield bar, but before, i could see it on me, now i`m looking up. it can be optional, but not mandatory.
hp on enemies? like in normal mmo rpg? it seems nice, but it`s now. Some guild stated that new recruits should learn about weakness and strength of monsters and how tough it is. with health bars (and mail stated that weakness would also be shown) it is no longer needed to be experienced.
if OOO wants to do something good finally,(except for revising rewards system for rank missions, cause i guess only I am hurt because it is unfair) the it could block the ce, so it does not get spend by accident when going next floor or something else.
