Hey guys. I know many of you don't like the new UI and there are a lot a of complain topics about it. Yeah this isn't the best, but I think they are working on fix the things. I don't want to start a new topic to say things about the hud. I think all of you guys forgot that it's SPIRAL KNIGHTS ANNIVERSARY.

If SK continues like this, they may aswell set the age limit to 6 with the amount of spoonfeeding they're doing (Seriously, health WASN'T that hard before, and the UI fit the game A LOT more stylistically than it does now).
We may not have another SK anniversary after such ridiculous UI ideas (change is good sometimes, but impractical change, WTF).
Yeah, it's SK's anniversary and to congratulate this we get a messy UI and a recycled event. HURRAY! LET'S PARTY HARD!
But yeah, I agree that creating a lot of topics that say the same thing isn't the best thing to do, they should just complain at the patch notes' topic and keep it at that.
On top of a recycled event, I find it a bit sad that the period of the event isn't long enough for you to accumulate 100 cake slices doing only the daily total caketastrophe mission. by my calculations doing only the prestige mission will get you 72 cake slices by the end of the event. You have to shell out some crowns for the rest or search in the clockworks for a nest
I think boxes are 25 cake slices...but I only looked once. Could've read wrong.

@ultra: Oh no, the clockworks! Using the arcade! We should be able to get all the rewards from the daily missions! Heaven forbid we used a feature of the game that is supposed to be the main draw!!
Not only do hey anger the community with an unfinished ugly UI, they also gave the middle finger to the guys on the test server (only 2 days, their feedback was mostly ignored, THEY RELEASED PART OF THE CONTENT BEING TESTED BEFORE THE PERIOD WAS OVER) and then release they same event as last year, with the added effect of completely messing with the guys that bought or saved their sprinkle auras and candles. So no surprise no one is cheering and celebrating, really.
I wonder how Nthug most feel with the anniversary contest now :x
Maybe Prismatic Costumes would be made a better prize for this anniversary (or even promo) but meh xd another anniversary made in a mood of lazyness or they really wasnt expecting another year to be alive... the only ones that are celebrating this are the new players who havent been on the previous anniversary. most of the old player already have what they wanted from the previous anniversary and they dont have nothing to do in this one.
even i would consider they put a bit more effort on dark harvest festival rather that this anniversary event. at least DHF bring us new "bomb pumpkins" enemies which made a bit hard King Pumkin, and hallow costumes with new bomb head mask and aura.
now this event? the anniversary? second year? the same dissapointing first anniversary, with only 1 difference: now we have anniversary prize box! i would say yaaaaay if it werent because the prizes are pretty much... the first anniversary promo... so that screw a few of the people who bought the promo on the previous anniversary becasue they paid for those accesories that we have now for "free" in this second anniversary.. not even a new promo for this anniversary..

I miss-expressed myself, I don't want to go GRINDING the clockworks to search for a nest. I have no idea of how often it spawns.
Also, I'm always down the Arcade if I'm not on front of the AH.
I just got 27 today including the prestige mission. Just make sure you have a network of friends who will be willing to invite you to lairs. You can usually find them on Clockwork Tunnel missions.
it was nothing but blast furnaces and I always got nests. Then I just kept doing them over and over and walked away with 48 cake slices today.
The new hud does have a bit of a bug with the face but other than that I like the new hud and all the upgrades that came with it. The new vials, the menus and hey, invites don't interrupt you any more. My only complaint is having to go into my inventory to view my crowns and energy but even then I can handle that. And the radar actually picking up enemies THAT is something I've been wanting for a while. I think adding the new hud with the caketastrophe event was a pretty good move on OOO's part. I'd say the only fix that I'd consider "needed" would be to make the face icons show accessories on the helmet and fix the bug where the snipe on the snipe stranger hat appears as a huge knight personal color ball clipping through the hat and into the face.
