Forerunners

The Forerunners originally started as a simple group of friends and family in Australia who created a guild specifically for students from a certain college. We were very close and still are, however, we are no longer accept only friends in real life. We now gladly accept anyone who wishes to join, though we do prefer experienced players to participate in our activities.

Forerunners originally started as Necessary oxymoron, but no one liked that name so we ditched the guild and became Reclaimers. This stayed that way for a long time through 2011 to 2012 until we eventually ran out of room in the guild. We did inactivity checks on all members but Reclaimers was a full house. So we started the sister guild, Forerunners. Forerunners grew very quickly as people streamed in and we would send a majority of our officers from Reclaimers to help with the recruitment drive. This was over 1 year ago, and since then, the same people that were apart of Forerunners and Reclaimers are very close together and get along very well, which is our guilds primary value. (and something we can boast about compared to most other guilds)

The Forerunners is like a small neighborhood. You get to know everyone and they get to know you, and this large group of friends will help enhance your gameplay enjoyment. Organisation use to be quite strict, but now we are more lenient with people going inactive and coming back again as they please. Currently, the guild population stands at just over 80, with a majority of our members touring other guilds to see how they do things and if we can improve.

The word Forerunners is from the game Halo, a race who were a super-advanced. They wiped themselves out in order to destroy a rampaging flood parasite. The Reclaimers are also from Halo, they are the humans, but with a mysterious past just like ours.
