I got this idea from Halo's "Grifball"
Gameplay: The game is set in a big square arena, the ball is set in the middle and the two teams are on each side. When the game starts, all players have their gear and no armor upgrades, UVs, or trinkets. When a player from either team gets the ball he is given a striker booster and his armor changes to proto, (though that wont make much of a difference in t1) and he has no weapons. The idea is that he dies in one hit, or from three hits from a gun. When a player dies he is restarted on his side of the map. When you score a goal your team gets 10 points, when your team gets a kill it goes up 1 point. The victory score is dependent upon how many players are in the game:
4 players: 100 points
6 players: 150 points
8 players: 200 points
Please comment on what you think!

Not a bad idea.
My only question is what special ability would players have if they don't have striker boost? You said a player gains striker boost abilities when the capture the ball. So that leaves the question of if the other players have no krogmo gear, or if the are limited to the other classes. Recon would then be kind of op if a person wanted to sneak to the ball and grab it, then use his/her newly gained striker abilities to dash out.
