Crafting Question: Will my UV stay?

I have been crafting most of my gear, with 2* gear at the moment. Fortunately, I lucked out with a UV Cobalt Helm & Jelly Shield (both with Low Normal). Will using them as materials for crafting 3* items erase my UVs on them, will it stay, or will it otherwise be influenced by this fact?

Yep, there's a little
Yep, there's a little check-box in the crafting window, allowing you to transfer the Unique Variant onto the new item. It's on by default-- don't turn it off if you want to keep the UV.

You have the option to make them stay.
