I'm a little noob who cant even go to the first town from the character selection screen, ive remade characters time and time again but its still saying that im playing the game when im clearly not all it sas is "heading into town...." ive drawn the onclusion ive been hacked :(

Where do you end up? A newly-created character should end up in the crash-landing stage, which serves as the tutorial.

The "Heading to Town" message
The "Heading to Town" message is presented when you choose a character. At this point the game is trying to load up the graphics necessary to, well, draw stuff to the screen, as well as communicate with the server. If it's perpetually trying to "Head to Town" then it's possible your computer or your internet connection are limited in some way. If you've got an Intel graphics chipset it's very very likely you will not be able to play (that is to say, a certainty approaching 100%). Other integrated graphics chipsets do better, but with varying degrees of success. If it's a network communication issue then you're going to have to review your firewall settings to ensure that you're allowing traffic through properly.
did you finish the tutorial?
did you go into the rescue camp?
did you head into the elevator in the far northwest in the rescue camp and completed the depth?
