Expedition Log 002
Ok, so I've grown to taking a look at the monitor on the elevators to judge what challenge will arise next, and I can say without doubt, I run at the sight of a purple building when delving alone. Those Devilites have a deathwarrent out on me or something... couldn't have been that time I stole some of their forbidden fruit was it? Anyway, I saw something that interested me, the same building symbol, but green, naturally I assumed it would just be another devilite area. When I arrived at the bottom however, what met my gaze was sickening, literally. Tall dilapidated buildings covered with thousands of thorns dripping with poison. Barricades and piles of bone littered the ground, obviously some plague struck this place long ago.
What to call it... Ailment Avenue? Sick Street? I think I'll go with Disease Drive for now.
Luckily for me, the only things that attempted to kill me were plagued skeletons and the occasional slime, my frozen blade easily tore them asunder. The only problem I faced were these strange rocks with what looks like a face carved in them, for every skeleton that fell apart, this strange totem made to pull them back together, but stray too far, and the skeletons stayed dead... re-dead?
Its a sight to behold, and I'd suggest that any of you that see this that can't fight against the undead exceptionally well, grab a different weapon, it'll be a bumpy ride.
Well, on to the next depth, hopefully I'll get past Emberlight soon...

As I have walk around haven, I overhear fellow knights discussing the existence of overlay armors, or, as their called on the street, "costume armor". the reasoning behind this wondrous waste of resources and time can be traced back to the hero theory developed by Ponsumius back in the steel times. the Theory being that if People see themselves as individual heroes, they are more likely to act like them too. Likewise, If they all dressed as the same cobalt wielding "clones", they'd be less likely to take chances and think outside the box, relying on a commanding officer to give them orders. As such, the regular chain-of-command was taken apart and put back together, with knights being encouraged to think for themselves and take things on head-first.
This mindset created the overlay armors, Thin, translucent disks that reflect light to whatever the user wishes. These are not without fault, as the User must have an actual armor or helm to obtain the light/color code from. these disks are very convincing, fooling almost every sort of visual monitoring device, so the naked eye would stand no chance to break the deception, which would explain all those plate armor wearers walking around with scale suits.
AS for the existence of costume armors, Some bright entrepreneur at Three Ovals came up with "Costume Cards" flat little squares that contain all sorts of different color codes, some of which do not exist! Said person is now obscenely rich, as many people with more crowns than they can carry just throw money at this man, all just for a measly "Costume Card".
These disks are very versatile, being able to morph light and color to any sort of shape, but anything beyond an arms length away becomes heavily distorted and static-y, and certain frequencies and lights can render them useless. king Krogmo is the only one that has mastered the creation of the exposing light, "For the good of fair game!" he claims. Not many believe him..
