I'd like to raise the idea of a system whereby knights will tick a box to indicate that they'd like to join any available Tier # party. When someone then creates an open party at the indicated tier, the first three knights in the tick queue automatically join the party.
Opinions on this system being used in Spiral Knights, anyone?
I'd prefer it to NOT be automatic, but a little popup in the corner basically says a group is open, click here to join. No thought yet on if it'd be better as totally open [first clicks get in] or "You have 5 seconds or it'll go to the next person on the list."
It might be problematic if you're in the middle of a business deal or whatnot when it goes through.
Also, allow people to pick gate AND tier.
They should just add a window showing all possible groups and what Tier they are on . . .
I like the idea of a party queue, that way you can just chill in haven until your number is picked.
I would like this. I hate joining a partially formed group, and I really dislike getting stuck in moorcroft / emberlight with some players finishing their run of the previous tier. I could then dink around in Haven until a full group is formed.
