Ty for the reply!
Thanks for the clarification. I've seen the charge and it looks like it's very dangerous or tough to use (like the blitz charge, requires practice and correct situations). I was considering using it widely as well as for fsc. It'd do well to interrupt zombies, but the swarms would probably punish the charge attacks too heavily. When I see a dmg wolver or dmg slime UV on a cutter in the AH, I always thinking of making one xD
DVS or WHB?

WHB has attack cancelling on the swings in its charge, where DVS only has it on the last swing. Therefore, if you try charging your DVS against an onrushing horde of Gremlins a la Tsubasa, you are going to find yourself very dead. The DVS charge is actually more dangerous than Blitz, which will at least interrupt before it's fully unloaded, and doesn't take quite as long to complete.
I got the DVS for the poison ability. Neither of them have the most awesome damage output in the world, but both are highly entertaining to play with and make reasonably effective weapons - more so than some others I could think of, at least.
Also, when you're using your shiny new cutter (if you haven't already), please remember not to feel obliged to use the entire combo. I normally take a few swings at zombies, then back off slightly and switch to my Storm or Nova Driver.
This question has been asked many times. You can use Google to search the forums for answers. My own answer, which addresses the slight speed differences using data, is here.
The attack canceling on WHB is not very special, it's just regular attack canceling. While that's more than DVS has (none at all), I still don't find WHB's charge very safe to use. Do not charge around zombies.
It says on the wiki that they produce the same damage versus nonwolvers (and nonpoisoned enemies), but Bopp's wiki link says that the DVS out damages the WHB against everything except for wolvers. I guess it's just talking about the speed difference, which must be significant.
@Coolspiderman: Ty for the link, though it makes me not want to use the WHB's charge against serious enemies. A trojan can clearly turn around and hit you mid-charge-attack, and actually hit the player one of the 4 times he did it (since the trojan did his aoe attack instead 3 or 4 times), seems pretty unsafe, but pretty fun nonetheless.
So their damage output is the same versus nonwolvers and nonpoisoned enemies, it's just the DVS swings faster so has higher dps technically. Still a tough decision, but knowing that my upgraded Flourish will out-damage a WHB versus wolvers is quite depressing.

Right. The combination of possible poison and slight speed advantage causes DVS to output more damage typically.

Exactly. WHB's optimal use case is the easiest kind of the monster in the game (beast), and it's not even the optimal weapon against that monster. I really feel that WHB needs some kind of improvement. As it is, it's a holdover from an earlier era, before there were piercing swords and before the wolver AI got nerfed so severely.
any of these 2 have flinching effect on normal combo? since you update lancer knight data it says DVS faster by 2 swing,it make me want to tumble on DVS but i want flinch more then fast.Just want to confirm.

I can't detect a difference in interrupting between DVS and WHB on the combo. The last stroke seems to interrupt, and the earlier strokes seem not to.
The choice comes down to whether you want to use the charge or just spam the combo. I own both, and the DVS feels like it swings faster, or at least lets you shield quicker. DVS also poisons, increasing it's dps. WHB on the other hand feels like it swings slower, especially on the charge attack. But what is better about the WHB is that every swing from the charge attack intterupts normal enemies (aka not heavy things like trojans or lichen colonies), and as a result is much safer to use.
Beware, there will be others in this forum trying to dissuade you from making one of these swords.
