Leave the room with two keys for danger missions
April 10 Update - Discussion
So I came across the old UI files (like right after the mission system kinda old) on my system. I can't believe that I found this! :o
Anyway, Imma see if I can zip it up and extract it into the new UI folders. It'll take some tweaking, but I think I can get it to look like its old self again :3

MINI THINGIES
----------------------
Done it on D9-26, they are too easy. (Kinda like all the other enemies in this game, exept easier.)
From my personal experience they take a few hits and their gone. Yeah, sure. They dish out tons of DMG, but their HP is so low it really doesn't make that much of a difference. Just grab a DVS and you're good to go.
Please buff some of the enemies, like chromalisks . Buff them, buff zombies(make them just slightly faster), buff Trojans (in vana the trojans take forever to charge, so while they are busy charging or buffing, they are being shot down by blitzers). Keep gremlins, slimes, devilites and mewkats the same, did you forget about half of the weak enemies that you've just left to rot? Yeah, I've been angry since the UI update. I've lost faith in OOO, but they'll never loose my respect.
I'll let you know I've already done this. I'll also let you know you'll get a ban for it. I contacted OOO about it.
This thread actually has pictures from my modding. Of course, my mod has already gone pretty far, but I've canned it.
Also, I tried dumping the old ui folder in place of the new one. Don't do it. You're computer will hate you. q_p
I know about the whole bannage thing, and I don't want to loose my knight so soon.
But I also don't want to loose the old UI so soon either, and I'd rather have the old-- OH GOD, COMPUTER, CALM DOWN--
On second thought, I'll just leave the files alone until OOO adds the UI switcher x-x
Also add more boxes, 2!!!! boxes per level is too low. Notice, usually you need few weapons and defenses(E+P weapon and S+P defense)
The number of treasure boxes in the compounds is randomized, from 2 to 8 (always an even number). I do agree that it needs more payout, though.
This new update makes spiral knights a cooler RPG type of game.I really feel like I am playing spiral knights for the first time! I
really like this update to remain untouched.

I only found one treasure box (three if you count the ones that give you hearts) in the last Chittering Burrows I've been to.
Usually there's that one room with the stone blocks blocking off the two small rooms with 1-4 boxes in them each... guess that's not a guaranteed spawn then.
@Death: do you mean the compounds/minis update, or the UI update?
Some of the lockers in Compounds level can ve opened with normal hits .-. idk if they give something valuable but i only got 10 cr from them.
but yes a small buff with more treasure boxes would be good for compound levels having 1 or 2 boxes isnt something..worthy..
Idk if its late for this, but I absolutely love the Compounds! I don't really care about how much they pay because, even though I need my crowns, too, I rarely go to FSC. The new enemies, levels, and the enemy mixture all is a breath of fresh air, IMO.
Gel Durps: Haven't encountered enough to give good feedback. They are definitely hard to hit with a sword, though! (Unless I use GF)
Undead Buggies: Also a bit difficult to sword...as long as they're attacking! This particularly feels swarmy because if you get surrounded, you get charged at from every side.
Dust Bunnies(See? I can spell one of them right!): Pretty good. The turn-on-attack (ToA) is pretty nice and makes it so you have to be a bit more cautious around them.
Although I'll put this in the suggestions forums sometime, I will ask it here, too. Could the Wolvers (atleast in T3) get some ToA back? Dust Bunnies get it, and it would really help Wolvers out. For Alpha Wolvers, maybe only turning on before the first bite occurs?
I like the compound levels! The puzzles in them are what gets me thinking. The new monsters, they have potential in becoming a challenge, well only in groups though.
I was just thinking about it last week. Though I do know it's bannable so, I didn't do anything yet, but why? Why would making the game look like it should actually look like a bannable offense? Not like it would make playing easier or anything, in the optimal case. (Yeah, it's actually harder to play with the new UI, but it's not my fault.) Most other f2p games are easily moddable, and the developers have nothing against it.
