This is a specific topic on buffing the antigua line.

Currently, one of the most frequently weapon lines used is the alchemer line of guns.
This is because they have a high damage per shot, and are very versitale, along with large clips at high tiers.
The antigua line, is much like the pepperbox; it goes unnoticed. A year ago or so some people
were still very interested in getting an antigua. Not so much anymore. There are few gunslingers out there,
and even fewer antigua users. This is mainly because the damage is insanely low, even with crits and that in
a single shot from the t2 alchemers you do as much damage as a single shot from the 4 star antigua line damage type.

What I want for the underappreciated antigua line, is that the damage for the antigua and 4 star upgrades to do higher damage.
The 5 star version do very decent damage actually, but because their underlings are so outclassed, they are not very popular.

I also wish you pepperboxers good luck in your quest for equality.

I use a silversix as a swordie and I find it a great sidearm. Doesn't feel underpowered at all. Plus, it has a large clip and you're extremely mobile unless you use the charge.

What are you talking about? Large clip? The Alchemer has only 2 bullets per clip.

I see plenty of people with Antiguas. Where are you getting your facts from?

PULSAR

well, if u think guns are underpowered, then, yes, that is the point. Guns are never meant to have much power anyway, but still they help u conserve health by allowing u fight in a distance. If u still reckon that guns are underpowered, use pulsar, this baby pushes the enemy back 3X more than the blaster and does some sick AoE, the only time this gun suck is when the enemies are very close to you( hint: hit the enemy before they are aggroed, the stun should last long enough for u to reload).

-Note: pulsar is not a team friendly gun (especially if ur teammates are swordies), so some bad cases, they will kick u, but still with pulsar, it is not like that really matter.

Arkate, I see a great deal of people with Antigua-line guns. Many of them are swordsmen or bombers using them as sidearms, or gunners who like using the additional mobility they give - Drivers have a clip size of two, whereas Antiguas have a clip of 6 and a faster firing speed. The two guns have different playstyles. Whilst I admit the damage per shot is poorer than that of the Drivers, they do have a reasonable DPS; part of the issue is that the Drivers have so much damage in the hands of an expert that people forget that the Antiguas do actually have good damage output as well. It's like saying that Plague Needle has a bad damage output because Blitz's is so ridiculously high.

(There are no such things as crits in the game, by the way. Internal ricochets on a Driver, yes. But no crits.)

Also DJ, it matters if you want to keep people on your friends list. >.>;
