I for one like the minis, they add new challenge to the game and will eventually make players build different weapons, however the only problem I have with them or should I say the levels that there in is that there are places were they can infinitely respawn while also forcing you to fight other types of enemy's like Slush Puppy's, Cryo Knight's and Silversap. to get keys for gates if possible I would like for the levels to not have the infinitely respawning minis.

You couldn't have placed a neon sign that said "nub" on yourself that could shine any brighter than this post.
If the swarm gets nerfed this way, then it isn't the swarm anymore. It's just a stupid annoyance.

While we're on the Nerf train, why not make grimalkins and phantoms finite too?

The exact place you're describing is where I realized that they're underpowered, and should be in greater numbers than they are for an interesting challenge

And this was when I was playing solo, and only gunning, whereas swords are generally my choice of weapon

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

Lol they've nerfed every inch of every enemy. Now someone is asking for making Swarm levels easier?

Get me off this ship!

...

A few days after they're released. Not willing to allow any time to get used to the new monsters. Or develop tactics specific to swarm, or for the room in question. You just go on the forum and complain for a nerf.

Do yourself a favor and graveyard this thread.

T3 is supposed to be hard. It's the final portion of the game.

Infinitely respawning enemies

Infinitely respawning enemies are a tad bit annoying, but in this case, that's all it seems to be: a tad bit annoying. That said, I went directly to the Tier 2 Chittering Burrows just to see the new Level, as it was the quickest way at the time. I don't see many problems with a bit of crowd control and adaption.

Silversap

Ahahahahahaaaa! So it really is that first frost bunny level in the T3 arcades that made that guy spawn that one thread.

Protip: Bring a bomb.

wow amazing, I make one

wow amazing, I make one thread about how I feel the minis are a bit to strong while having to deal with other enemy types, ask for opinions from players specifically on the minis and get all this random hate, if at all possible could you leave the random rage away from the topic.

yes your pro and you have no problem telling me how noob I am while hiding under anonymity but please check your ego at the door
I just want thoughts on the minis if I want a review on how noob I am I'll give you guys a call.

If you didn't want people strongly disagreeing with you, the you shouldn't have asked for people's opinions

Yer butts are not meant to be hurt.

Community hasn't changed much, still... the same freshly anxiety players with veterans mocking of how easy it was, those days again when I had no sense of humour, no fair at all? >_>

I blame certain people.

@Idragonphoenix

To be exactly sure, they aren't quite so hard if ye wore the proper equipments recommended by some experts. By saying how hard were swarm-infested enemies are, they are not really. If ye took a hike to a shadow lair, maybe ye should backtrack to fiend levels on Clockworks. Greavers and Devilites are quite hard too.

Before ending conversation, please move this to [removed] subsection. Thanks.

EDIT: *cougH* Getting old, New Recruits subsection, sorry. I suppose I'm out for now.

Swarm-infested, include both of them attacking the victim. Imagine how vain filled with rage of the victim will feel when getting pinned down alone.

ok so it seem I did not word

ok so it seem I did not word it correctly, the enemy's am talking about is the minis , they are easy to kill, what I am not liking is having to deal with a wave of 15 minis of any type plus gun puppys and mecha knights or lumbers all at the same time while also having the problem that the minis respawn very quickly , so maybe what I would like is for the respawn time to be a couple seconds higher so that the number of minis dose not stay so constant.

also edited tittle and posts so as to remove confusion.

thanks to Canine-Vladmir

It is better for ye to ignore respawnable enemies and focus on non-respawnables in order to bypass a dangerous encounter. Whichever the type of monster it is, ranged, try to dodge the bullets if ye can, avoid corners; melee, shove them away with yer shield and focus on other monsters.

Another thing to mention, Valiance works well against all of them, considering it does normal damage, shoots fast, and can hit multiple minis at the same time

Tactics.

Here's an idea: don't kill the damn Silversap. No, really. Hit the switches and flee to the exit. The rest of us can handle it just fine.

There is one thing I'd consider nerfing though: add a half a sec/quarter of a sec delay between jellies spawning and them aggroing you. And even that I'm iffy about since I can, you know, not stand on the obvious broken grate. Yeah, scratch that. Instead, make the beetles fly much faster and/or track a little. They're pathetic as is.

well, I for one....

I was about to complete a full clockwork run, all 3 tiers, but the final floor was the one mentioned by the OP, and I finally died, for the first time during the run. not to say I wasn't a little frustrated after spending the time to do it, but the fact is, I died because I was rushing with the wrong gear, and ended up getting cornered by the swarm while fighting against other enemies, and finally gave up. had I been playing in a group, with proper CC gear, I'd have been fine.

I can see how you would be frustrated, they are challenging in comparison to most the floors in arcade. that said, I like a challenge, and feel that had I actually researched what the recommended weapons were prior, I might have even beat it solo. if we see a lot of the community in game losing to swarms, and a decline in player activity as a result, then maybe it'd be good to consider "rebalancing," but nerfing requires a lot of test playing.

all that said, it's unfortunate that people can't simply state their opinion without first trying to insult your intelligence, but hey, welcome to the internet.

The respawning minis are a

The respawning minis are a very strong reason to be packing bombs, few weapons can wipe a room faster. Packing normal weapons is also a good plan for only 2 slots, since I see about 3 enemy types on Compound levels

It's horrible how fast they build up though, I think just the minis is enough for one room. Adding in Lumbers/mechas on top of 15+ respawning minis is awful.

Pack enough enemies into a room, and you can't run past them anymore.

go with vortex.

it's the solution. don't kill them, get them stuck on a vortex so you can run. then the vortex scatters them, making them much less of a theat.
