You know. There's a lot of choices. I went from the Cobalt series to the Wolver series to the Ancient set and even when I heard about the new buff, I didn't even really care about the Chaos mantle and cowl. It was just a funny thought. I was still thinking what I should craft my Ash Tail to. My friend Kozse was against the idea. Like I would die way too fast. Trinkets are the cheaper, easier solution. And fsc killed me all the time anyway.
I find other random people standing in haven wearing Chaos and I was curious. I go up to ask them for advice. They hate it- has to be too careful now.
But. Against his wise advice and some random strangers, I went for it. Holy what I'm allergic to everything and the weather. Any zombie could one hit me if they're lucky. The first and second depths are always the hardest.
And you know. I don't regret it. I got this awesome surge cloak from a friend and it matches the Chaos cowl. Who knows if there's a Surge hood anywhere, but I don't plan on buying it.
So I'm running around. It's been a month or two since I got the Chaos set and you know. I really feel like typing a thank you letter. Because you know, UVs would be for like the really rich people. An after-game thought. And me. Well. Now, I'm an end-game Spiral knight and I'm broke as all heck, so I'm really happy that the Chaos set exists. Granted, I still die very easily in just about every situation, but I got a full serving of Damage Maximum and CTR Maximum!! I use the Barbarous Thorn Shield. If I used the Swiftstrike, I'd die a heck of a lot faster.
So... thanks OOO. This is my first MMO where I actually got to the end game. And I'm still playing. Scary enough with all these grinding features and all.
The Chaos set is really, really fun. Who likes waiting to charge anyway? Hahaha. I am a glass cannon. Please rev me.
It's the same as wearing Mad Bomber, don't get hit and you'll be fine. Gunslingers have the easiest time wearing Chaos, due to range advantage.
Flip-side, Mad Bomber is pretty useless compared to Chaos now. It needs to be buffed or reworked to be valued again.
