All I wanted to know is it's percentage in spawning and which depth-type those Love Puppies spawn around.

Love Puppies or any rare monster generally do not have an official number but it's thought to believe about 0.1% chance of appearing in any place of a regular monster. (In this case a 0.1% chance of appearing in any place of a turret-like monster) They're more of an Uncommonly Rare Monster unlike some other ones which people have only seen one-two out of the entire game-life.

Yep.
The will spawn in place of ANY turret, ie. Gun Puppies but also Howlitzers (confirmed by me) and Polyps (probably).
I'd say about 1% or lower, if that.
