I would personally like to blow your minds by suggesting restaurants.
Haven has been getting lots of attention but i think it would be a great idea to add eateries where you could enter sit down have a virtual meal and chat with friends. I myself wouldn't mind a large wolver steak
at a place called The Core Tavern.
So this is my first post and reply and let me know what you think! ;D

restaurant can be interesting if you wanna talk with snipes, stranges or even gremlins, but to eat...

The environment of the planet are to hazardous for us to be outside of our suits, so either they would need to make a creepy face eating mask or compleatly drop that part of the game's backstory.
In a way this game is about astronouts that are stranded in a giant living maze and use swords to kill giant bosses in cities in fire.
That's a new concept.

We had this debate a couple of days ago in GD.
But, regrettably, I have to agree that there is pretty much no point in knights having a restaurant. Mess room, possibly, although even then I can't really see why you'd want to play your knight eating of all things. /le shrug

Waste of space, it wouldnt really do anything, each place serves a utilitical purpose, a restraunt wouldnt. OOO should do things that improve gameplay or solve problems with the game
Well i was thinkig that maybe the restaurant would be like more of a place for gremlins and other mobs to party 24/7 and us (the knights) could play certain skill games to level up our armor,win crowns,and posslibly earn small amounts of C.E.
Some might say hey! "if you want to win crowns just fight monsters". thats not what i was thinking. The crowns you earn in a game in a restaurant would be limited to only one earning per day and increase as you master the games. So think about that next time you post a comment.
Any per-day limit is avoided with multiple knights. Free money.
Sure but that would defeat the concept of earning your money in the games and you would be able to get armor faster so spiral knights would turn... less challenging. :/
+1 I don't know if you've ever played Monster Hunter but there you pay for a meal combo of your choice which either gives you a boost (like increased power or something),a bad effect(minimized power) or nothing at all (it tasted normal) and by constantly stopping by you'd get a voucher for a free,good bonus,meal.So something like this would be great.
Restaurants should not be in Haven. Sure, they sound nice, but I think that it is not needed in Haven.
If it where a restaurant don't u think giving the knights something to eat should give them a power-up or somthing and of course u would have to pay for a decent meal.
It would make more sence if they made restaurants for the spries to level them up that way.
