No AT (You have to record your duels or the start and disallow At and shift to prove you dont use it)
20k cr entry fee.

If you're going to do another no- AT tournaments, you need to find some other anti-cheat system better than referis. Past tourney was a huge fail because of Shift Togglers.

If we can't find something that take random screenshots or something, just remove the AT rules, because we both know that in the past tourment at least 6 players were toggling.

Find something or let anyone use AR.

Wow running is a legit tactic as long as you're not running to heal. Stay mad scrublord. I guess since no running is allowed I won't be playing in this tournament obviously, since we'll be seeing "COWARD RECON OMG" through the tournament.

Something simple

There must be something simple.

When i usted to play competitive L4D, we used a software that take random screens and create video with it.

We need to find something simple or remove the AT rule.

Saddly a tournament with AT is useless to measure skill or name a new champion.

Recording makes people lag, so I don't think that'd be a good idea. Maybe each person could record their screen before each round, show that they have AT off, close the menu, and then stop recording. From then on, somebody can make sure that their character is not in a menu/doing the animation. And if anyone has trouble recording, just google "how to screen record on a (insert type of computer here) computer." I'm sure you'll find something

Indeed

If we not find something to control without decrease the performance of players, we should allow AT, doesn't matter if they spam or not. Valiance and Brandish with AT are annoying, so there's no difference.

Of course, I'll stay off this one, for 2 reasons, my unstable conection and the free use of AT, but still I'm willing to help and record if needed.

But first, we will try to find something that help us with the AT issue, if not... We will have 1000+ players in this tourney..( the ones that always says no)..

if you record your matches, you can say to turn on the "display HUD arrows" options, do that you can see if it's aiming with shift or not. red arrows appear.
darn the mender that made me made this discovery. not half of the people here will start insulting me. in their minds and guilds. and in LD. I'll do BN until shows are off.

Means...

That you have to record your match, showing the AT off in "Settings" and showing the HUD inside LD "ON".

The only way to control togglers, and the video HAVE TO BE in DECENT QUALITY. The winner of every match will be claim AFTER watching both videos.

X v/s Y

X WINS 3-0

X don't have a video to prove the non-use of AT

Y records, Y wins, even if X didn't use it and everyone saw a clean match.

Rules are rules, and of course, this goes for everyone, including the ppl that organize this events.

We already have players that agreed the terms of this tourney, and for sure we will have more.

Just a note now that you have to record, with decrease of fps when recording, it will only be harder to fight.
Many people will not be able to do this. I for example cannot do this on my laptop.

We know is an issue

But we cannot trust players after past tournament. Hardware is the same as latency, we have to deal with what we have (I always play with 1 or 2 bars, and I never ask special treatment, even against 4 bars players, I always fight anyway).

HUD

* In setting you can find something that "turn on HUD on LD", that have to be on, if someone togles a big cross will appear on the opposite player.
* AT in settings.

At the beggining of the match both players MUST show those settings.

I'll try to compilate the best record software, and if I find another solution, be sure I'll try to make it available.

I'll make some videos with different software and of course, I'll try to do my best to find whatever makes everything easier. I will post all that in a different thread to keep everything in place.

Solution

Get the players to record the start of their match, showing controls that have none set for toggle
AT and AT is off.

Then, if they go into menu animation, the must be disqualified or restart. Load outs should be picked before hand.

With 4 tournaments already one of the thing we learn is that, we can't trust players, specially when they have a big ego.
