How much would a trinket sold by Brinks for primal sparks sell for? Assuming people would buy it in the first place...

just check prices
Maybe. Go to the Auction House, check the prices for Spark of Life (for example), and compare them to the 10,000 crowns you get (with no effort or risk) by selling a 5-star trinket to a vendor.

Much of the time it benefits you to buy and sell crafting materials.
The trinkets you get from Brinks all come automatically bound, so it's not worth it to unbind them and sell them off to other players. You can sell them off to vendors, though; the 5* trinkets fetch a not unreasonable 10,000 cr each.
