I know this sounds kind of strange but for some reason I can't sell mist energy.

So basically I went to the energy depot and clicked on trade and where it says buy *random number* crowns it's all blacked out and I can't select it. I have 100 mist energy but it won't let me sell. Somebody please help.

You can't. Mist Energy is for

You can't. Mist Energy is for personal use, Crystal Energy is the one you use as currency. You'd be inclined to BUY CE later on to craft higher level gear.

Energetic Knight tutorial. OOO puts NPCs that explain this in the game to avoid these kind of questions.

Think about it:

If you could sell Mist, you'd earn an average of 6.5k to 7.5k cr per day (of 22 hours) while still being in 0* items, thus allowing you to buy a load of 2*s REALLY cheaply and basically ruin the game. Also, it makes the entire game a non-entity. You could get to 5* gear without going into the CW even once.

Now reconsider: Should you be able to sell Mist?
Take this answer and add: Is it wrong if I can't sell Mist?

Please, apply common sense.

No you don't. You could buy items directly from players or from the Supply Depot. While it's true you'd need heat to get 4* and over if you were to go as cheaply as possible (via crafting), that's not quite true in all cases.
