I think that the Auction House should be accessible from the main site, as a lot of the time people can't login to Spiral Knights, but would like to keep up with their bids. You would choose the character you would like to use to bid, and could not bid exceeding your current amount of crowns. Any questions?

The problem is that since auctions run real time, to keep up with your auctions you will have to continuously refresh the page. This might cause a few problems if the page is not refreshed. And if your computer is laggy, there might be conflicts between server side and client side information. You know the "double posts" in the forums? Yes that is what will happen. Precautions will have to be taken or there may be glitches that can be exploited.
I think this is a cool idea.
Maybe it could be similar to the "Armory" App for WoW, or the Planetside 2 "Mobile Uplink" App, I haven't used them, I just thought that it could be a similar concept, like being able to access multiple game menus on the fly rather than having to have the game downloaded?
I think if this were to be implemented we might as well take the idea one step further and go as far as adding a few more nifty things like who's online from your friend and guild lists, server population, CE market prices etc, so you still have a broad overview of what's going on without having to be in-game.
Possibly simplified versions of the game menus, or simply carbon copies of the game menus?
Just a few things to consider.
