K, so first of all, sleep should be in the game a bit more (So jelly is a bit better)
My first (I think) Original idea is a status called confusion.

Confusion: No damage, just makes them move in the opposite direction (so up=down, down=up).

Mystery: A random status (kind of like sealed sword charge)

Aggro: Makes it so enemies go faster in your direction

Buffs:
Slow regen (kind of self explanitory)

This is all I can think of now, if anyone has constuctive criticism feel free to post.

Sleep - needs fixing before it's put back in. +/-0

Confusion - not sure if this really fits with SK style, since ATM there's no way to "lose control of your character" ala fear spells in WoW or anything of the sort, and I'm not sure if that's the kind of thing they would want to do. +/- 0

Mystery - this isn't a status, more like a monster type. +.5 I guess, seems a little too random.

Aggro - so greasers move at lightspeed... Great. Also might not be possible in the code, but I really have no idea about that. +.5 again.

Buffs: what would inflict this? It seems counterintuitive for a monster to do it, but being able to heal yourself will be exploited to all Firestorm. -1

Overall: +/0.

Couple things

Yes, sleep needs fixing

What's ATM, or ALA. It would make it so when a monster wants to approach you, it goes the other way.

Mystery, yes it is a status, it does a random status, like the myster item in paper malio.

Agro, there is a cap speed.

Buffs, it would come from a pill or love puppies.

"Confusion: No damage, just makes them move in the opposite direction (so up=down, down=up)."

Not original at all. It was considered by the development team (under the name "muddle") but it wasn't implemented due to the fact that Spiral Knights operates on a lot of different control systems; (stun was difficult enough to implement correctly) You have click-to-move, mouse-strafing, grid-lock, and grid-strafe. Not to mention that we'd need new enemies to inflict said status (since all the mineral combinations have been used so we can't just make another Strata Theme)

"Mystery: A random status (kind of like sealed sword charge)"

Once again, this can't just be tacked on to pre-existing enemies, a new enemy must be developed for this.

"Aggro: Makes it so enemies go faster in your direction"

You can just call it "Speed Up!" since we already have the statuses "Attack Up!" and "Defense Up!". It could be added as an ability to a "support monster". (We have Gremlin Menders and Silkwings so far) Maybe it could be a non-attacking small Constsruct monster that casts "Speed Up!" on nearby monsters.

"Slow regen (kind of self explanitory)"

This is exactly what Silkwings do already.

Confusion/Muddle: Hex has most successfully shot down the original idea. An alternative:

For the duration of confusion using [an action] has the possibility of [failure]. [an action] may be attacking, shielding, moving, changing face, switching weapons, or using an item. [failure] is defined as the prevention of the action first attempted as well as any similar action for a short duration.

To say it another way, the character has a chance of briefly forgetting how to perform the various available actions as they are used.

(Other ways of doing confusion: reverse the display or change the speed at which the player moves randomly.)

Aggro( /Rally): I see this more as a monster ability than a status, but I do like it. The owner of this ability, the leader, would rally nearby monsters, replacing their current target with its own, maybe even pulling monsters from offscreen. The leader might simultaneously buff the rallied monsters, or even summon a few new ones, but that isn't strictly related.

As for new suggestions, there are various things you could do with player perception.

-Blindness: Restricting sight to just around the character. Everything else is an inky black. A very common effect.
-Hacked: Disable various hud elements, or maybe just populate them with bogus/comical data.
-[???]: Do something with the presentation of monster and friendly models so that you can't tell the difference between them. Maybe appearing as static-y blobs.

Hmm, yes this could work, but again, they'd need to implement knew monsters for some of these.
