So I decided to buy a hunters lodge. I bought the floors and bought the lodge and placed on the second floor. I then removed the third floor. Then when I go and publish the lodge isn't there! What happened?
Guild hall trouble
Then what do I do?! I just wasted the crowns!
It's because you removed the wing wich allowed you to buy a hunter's lodge. If you remove a wing/wings wich allowed you to buy a hunter's lodge the lodge dissappears. So you need to keep the wings to be able to keep the room.
I know it's retarded.
If I where to put the wings back it will the lodge re appear?
Ouch. As a GM who currently has half of the third floor and had most of his guildies say I should try this, thank you so much for this thread.
Now, I will file a support request on your behalf cause I am so glad I didn't try this... not finding any info on if it would work or not was what kept my cr in the bank.
you should go here: https://www.spiralknights.com/support/#requests_new
File your own support request and ask for the third floor to be put back with the lodge. I don't think asking for any kind of refund would work, only biting the bullet and paying the big bucks would have any hope of getting mercy.
As for your question of the room reappearing if you buy the third floor again, it specifically says somewhere that if a room is removed for any reason, its gone.
Just to let everyone know, everything you have in your guild hall can, and WILL be removed if you reduce your hall size, right down to the stock hall.
The only things in your guild hall that are permanent and you actually "own" are the items in your treasury.
This is restated on the wiki:
"When a room or expansion is placed, an installation fee is paid. Should the room or expansion be removed for any reason, the installation fee must be paid again to install the room or expansion once more."
"Themes and environments are unlocked as expansions are added to a guild hall. Themes change the lighting, walls, floor, fog and background of the Guild Hall and environments change the weather and other ambient effects of the Guild Hall. If the required expansion is removed, the theme and environment will be restored to the default."
Still, the room/expansion removal thing is kinda ambiguous. It could mean that you lose all the special rooms on that expansion (but not the ones placed on another expansion) and is unable to create any more of the "unlockable with expansion rooms", or that the "unlockable with expansion rooms" will be deleted.
Luckily I asked on support what was the right interpretation before doing any decisions.
You need to have 3 floors accessible
to have a hunters lodge
