I guess this is what happens when you get invited into a free SL run...

One of the guys was 4 star and rev spammed and rev party spammed. I'm not even mad, I'm quite impressed he managed to rev spam up to 1000.

rev spam: when you rev party or rev while people are still not dead.

I wouldn't say that one

I wouldn't say that one should be especially wary of free Shadow Lairs hosts, but rather how well equipped and/or how skilled the people involved are. I like hosting free runs myself (due to my policy on SL hosting) whenever I decide to delve into the Lairs, but I'm not so much a terrible player as I am wanting my friends to have a ball. (Or at least I like to think I'm not that bad...)

Though that is quite an extraordinary scenario you've got there. I can only assume that the person in question recently made a rather large energy purchase and got a bit ballsy with the quantity of Crystal Energy at their disposal. Impressive, yes, though their choice of investment is questionable.

Looking into it, it seems he

Looking into it, it seems he was a kid with access to his parent's debit or credit card. Pretty sure he was a 9 year old treating his parent's card like free money with no consequences. OOO should report it to the bank so the parents can get notified.

Edit: He's 9 years old, said his dad was paying for it, but without him knowing... I think the 9 year old thing breaks some sort of ToS at least.

At least there's a spending

At least there's a spending limit of $100 a month, but $100 is still a lot of money... Besides that, online games have an age requirement of at least 13 and up, and Spiral Knights is no exception. Needless to say, we won't see this Knight again.

And if we do, well... My faith will shatter.

Also, you can. In the Complaint Options menu, click "Not listed" and type it out.

Spending issues.

But how much is his party rev? Why would you complain anyway? The way I see it the player would get caught either way right? (By the parents or something)

But sadly they come back with a new account, since OOO bans trought account and not IP or MAC. i know because i reported also kiddos under 13 and they still come back with a new account. so.. you will see again that knight under a new knight name. that unless he get grounded :P

They increase your spending limit themselves if you get close to it or reach it and they deem your account safe to increase. (all without asking you)
Either way, someone's father can't possibly be happy with his child.
