I have essentially no experience in buying digital music: I don't listen to a whole lot of music to begin with, and when I do buy it, I'm one of those apparently old-fashioned types who prefers to have the physical CD. But I really love the work that Harry Mack has done on this game's soundtrack, and I'd like to grab a copy. The trouble is, there are about ten digital storefronts it's been released through, and without said experience, I'm not sure which one is the best buy. I'll try to look up all this information myself if I have to, but I figured I'd see if someone here could answer my questions first.
Ideally, here's what I'm looking for:
--No DRM on the files at all, because DRM is pants.
--Lossless files if at all possible, though I kind of doubt they're offered that way. If not, then as good an MP3 bitrate as possible.
--No iTunes, because...well, no iTunes. :D
Do you know of any choices that fit the bill?
My sister uses Amazon.com's music downloader.
