HAHAHHAH once again your old friend dragon-dash needs some help !!!!!!! how can i become a recon/bomber because i have seen other people do but i just cant see to get the hang of it any tips ? im all ears
guid to being a killer bomber/recon
Use the recon cloak to hide your charges.
Dunno anything else.
How do people hide their charges anyway? I've been using recon for a long time, but I've never understood how to do it xD

-Shield charging
What's a good secondary weapon for a recon bomber? I tried Shock Mist Bomb and Needle, because shock removes invincibility frames, but it didn't work all too well.
A good side weapon is a melee weapon, to deal with those pesky strikers.I recommend FF for its fast and agile swings.
Some pointers:
-If you're a bombing Recon with level 10 Bombs, Volcanic Demo won't help you; you'll have max CTR no matter what. Bring along Bombastic, Mercurial, or something to help your sidearms.
-Bombastic and one Damage Trinket can get you to Max Damage, and if you're a Recon you've already got Max CTR; this frees up a Trinket Slot for a Penta-Heart Pendant. It also provides Freeze resistance. While Freeze is less common than Shock, because the fact that Lockdown is basically Skolver Clone Wars is off-putting for using the Shivermist Buster, it can arguably be more devastating, especially if it comes from the aforementioned Shivermist Buster.
-Mercurial Demo provides enough Damage Boosting to get you to Max Damage with two Elite Boom Modules, as well as a movement speed bonus that can help you get to points quicker or dodge out of the way of a gunshot or slash in time. It also provides a very helpful Shock resistance, which may keep you alive in a sea of Polarises, (is it Polari?) Storm Drivers, and Voltaic Tempests.
-Use your Recon Cloak effectively. Don't be predictable! If you're running from an enemy and can't get away, and you're fairly certain they won't slash behind them, do an about-face and walk the opposite direction- towards them- right after cloaking. Alternatively, try faking your enemy into thinking you're going down one path and then actually go down another, or luring an enemy offensive away from a point an ally is solo-capping... the possibilities are endless.
-Your bombs are meant to make "aiding zones" for you and your team, or for denying areas to the other team. Use them all, and any non-bomb weapons you may have, wisely, and with holding points in mind.
-Learn to utilize your death mark! If you're low on health and you have a living ally fighting with you, consider cloaking and marking the enemy or enemies they're fighting.
-Shocked enemies have no invincibility frames; any hits on an enemy spasming from Shock will connect, regardless of the time between them. Keep this in mind.
Recon + VT + [Some combination of sword ASI/DMG trinks and Vog/Snarby] + DVS = shock enemies with CTR Max!, then DVS them to death with DMG VH and ASI High because no invincibility frames.
That would work, right?
Yes, it does Klipik. I do it all the time in LD xD
and Neo, that thread link did not help me at all. I've seen people in LD just pop up out of nowhere with their recon abilities, place a fully charged bomb down, and disappear. They whole shield charging thread link only talks about it outside of LD. I can't seem to copy what others do in LD with their bombs. I have max ctr, but I still don't get the sudden full dropped bomb some others can do.
The instant charge is a visual glitch. The glitch will appear to enemies, but not to the Recon.
You want to become a bomber, eh? A recon, ye say?
Good days! Keep in mind that a fully leveled bomb will have max CTR as long as you're a recon. If you're in T3, get bombastic or murcurial. They both buff damage and would help more than mad bomber or volcanic.
In the beginning of games you can do the following:
-Anticipate where the rush is going to come and create a wall of bombs. For example, the bottom lane of reactor sees alot of action in the first 30 seconds so cap the base CP and create a blockade with bombs to buy your team time to cap 2 and flank 3/1.
-Try to gank the opposing team early with a max damage loadout (I switch between VH DMG +6 Health and MAX DMG and +0 Health depending on whether the game is in the early stages) on an off-lane (lane with least CPs)
During mid-game you can do this:
-While the rest of the team is fighting on the front lines, go behind enemy lines and bomb the base CPs to drain them of their PPX (Points per 10). This will not only boost the lead your team has by neutralizing enemy CPs, but it will also cause confusion among the enemy and will lead to many teams splitting up to defend and recapture.
Remember, Death Marks matter! If it's a 3v1 situation (in favor of your team), do them a favor and sap the defense away! It will make kills easier for your team and will keep them from wasting any more health than they need to. My advice to you is when someone is fighting your teammate, hover around your teammate forming a "shield". This will almost always result in a death mark.
-Once you capture your lane, "patrol" your lane to protect it from enemies. Defense wins games as a recon/bomber so be sure to develop a "sense" of what CP is being capped! That "sense" will save your team in a pinch. For instance, let's say bottom lane has 2 CPs, the opposing team recaps one so assume they will rush to the point next to it. Form a blockade there with bombs and/or lie in wait to gank them.
In late-game pushes I would highly advise following the carry to keep him alive on CPs
edit: I would suggest not using Mad Bomber/Mercurial/etc as a bomber recon. Instead use Chaos Cloak or Skolver. There is a reason why the perk has -sword asi low. OOO does not want people playing it the way I've been doing for the past year. They know that recon has highest burst dmg in the game.
