People trying to scam me

This isn't a call for help or anything. just an odd finding of mine.
Lately I've been getting a lot more people trying to scam me out of CE and trying to get me to follow them to strange places. About a week ago no one would ever do this. Has anyone gotten the same thing? Or am I strangely attractive to scammers?

I've had nothing of the sort, although I don't spent a lot of time idling in Haven. Unless the odd person sending a guild invite counts.

Maybe it's your rank or the gear you wear? I used to be able to look nooby before the update showed what rank, I got left alone. Less invites and all that ^^

I was going to share my secrets on fighting scammers but it would be too silly for most, and a small few would be at risk of having their internal organs alphabetized and organized into a choir to perform for the entertainment of a holy court whose only members would have the time to attend are the gods of BLT sandwiches and running gags. Luguiru was hauled away by two very large men in sterile white coats and thrown into the back of an armored van. A loud and brief burst of electricity slashes through the still air. The back doors audibly lock twice and a vault wheel attached to a complex locking system on the outside of the van is spun by one of the orderlies while the other begins deploying a sign which reads "Crates Are For Squares". The two enter the front seats of the van and drive away.

I have noticed

I have noticed an increase in people trying to sell me things for more than they are worth. Feller, are you telling on me? All that extra was to keep your mouth shut!!
