Good day to evryone today i'm bringging back the topic on how and why Argent Peacemaker and Sentenza changed during their period in SK.
1) They were dealing spit piercing/elemental damage (AP) and split piercing/shadow damage (Sentenza)
WHY:
Analyzing the monster weakness you can notice that the old Argent Peacemaker was :
STRONG against Undeads
STRONG against Fiends
WEAKER THAN NORMAL against Beasts (the gap between normal and weak is higher than the one between normal and strong)
WEAKER THAN NORMAL against Constructs
WEAK against Slimes
WEAK against Gremlins
And the old Sentenza was :
STRONG against Gremlins
STRONG against Beasts
WEAKER THAN NORMAL against Slimes
WEAKER THAN NORMAL against Fiends
WEAK against Undeads
WEAK against Constructs
They were modified since in LD they were too powerfull, the combination between piercing and shadow / elemental on a single weapon was too much.
HOW TO CHANGE:
Asuming that evryone knows on which monster the AP and Sentenza are effective against, this is an idea on how to bring back the old guns without affecting the LD
Argent Peacemaker:
- Damage bonus vs Zombies medium
+ Damage bonus vs Fiends medium
+ Damage penality vs Constructs medium
Sentenza :
- Damage bonus vs Gremlins medium
+ Damage bonus vs Beasts medium
+ Damage penality vs Slimes medium
Please consider it just as suggestion , even thought i love how the AP and Sentenza specialized damage actually works.
P.S.: I said damage bonus medium but thoose values are just placed there to give a general idea on how it should work
This suggestion doesn't make any sense to me, especially the random families that you're giving bonuses to.
