I'm just going to put some seeds for various weapon mechanics (you know, the things that tell you how to swing your sword, blast your bomb, shoot your bullets. That thing.) that may or may not be germinated in their life-time. Please try to avoid stomping on the seeds. If you do not like the seeds, please say why and move on. If you like the seeds, please tell them so. If you despise the seeds to the metaphysical literary hearts, please avoid talking to them at all, they have very fragile ego's that can shatter at any moment.
Currently I am holding only two seeds (both of which have some very silly descriptors) in my arms, but when I am no longer a nervous wreck, fretting out the path of my future with the psychic marks of (non-existent) developing neurosis', and have relaxed to a sufficient degree, I will add more.

Stabby, Stabby!

This charge mechanic alters a piercing weapons attack from a lunge attack which, I assume, is supposed to take you from here to that lone zombie on the other side of the room, into a multi-stab attack.
The multi-stab attack would do the 6 Stabs in the space of 2 seconds, finishing off with a slash. The damage output would be (damage of normal 3rd Hit) * 0.5 for all six hits, then a normal 3rd hit for the slash.

The damage change would be (Assuming H10, D1 Swift Flourish):
Normal attacks
Attack 1 + 2: 33 * 2 = 66
Attack 3: 40
Grand Total: 104

Normal charge attack
Attack 1 + 2: 55 * 2 = 110
Attack 3: 60
Grand Total: 170

Proposed charge attack
Attack 1 - 6 (perforations): 20 * 6 = 120
Attack 7 (slash): 40
Grand Total: 160

But why?
My intentions for this mechanic is for it to be given unto the Rigadoon and Flamberge lines of the Flourish family. Whose sole advantage over the Swift Flourish line is the fact that they are able to inflict statuses, stun and fire respectively. If my knowledge is correct, then this mechanic will allow this advantage to be exploited to it's full extent i.e. through numerous applications of rapier point to to soft under-belly, in the the hope that one of its strikes will cause their respective status to bloom forth.

Your face. My gun. Now!

You seen a monster from across the room, you want to introduce that monster to your fist. But problem! The monster is too shy! what ever shall you do? Let me tell you what you'll do. You'll charge up your Magnus look-alike, and fire a bullet right at that bugger. Then you'll be pulled toward the monster and end up flat on your back, whereas the monster shall be pulled towards you, end up flinched, and receive a hearty dose Stun to keep him down.
If all goes well, you should be able to get up off your rear, switch to your fists, and clock that guy around the head a couple of times at least.

Damage?
If a fully-heated Magnus does 20 Damage with it's basic attack, and 35 with it's charge attack; then the basic attack of this Magnus-like weapon would be 20 Damage, and it's charge attack would be 33 Damage.

Really? There isn't anything about these weapons you want to criticise? You're not going to talk about the damage numbers being off, or the ideas themselves being completely impractical/ too weirdly situational to be taken seriously, not even about how they will be under-powered/over-powered in Lockdown? Nothing at all?

Although I love getting into designery stuff, crunching damage numbers for new weapons in suggestions forums is surprisingly not something I'm interested in. Without testing out a weapon in practice, I won't have anything to say on the balance of it.
I use a Fearless Rigadoon, with a CTR Medium so I can utilize its status more frequently, and I can agree that this buff in attack count is just what it needs.

About the grappling hook weapon, we've been needing one since the Pepperbox was fixed (it was kinda silly anyway) and it would greatly encourage weapon combos just like the Vortex.

/offtopic I've been thinking, it's quite likely that Nick's intended buff for the Iron Slug was to make it pierce enemies.
