Short answer to your question: Supply and demand.
We as players have the power to make an item with a UV, we don't have the power to make accesories.
As such we can alter the supply of of UV items, but not of accesories.
The item where there is less of will always cost more in a traditional market.
(see items such as Zee core which have no use but are valuable because of rarity)

Luxury will always cost more than common items (it's common even with ASI VH), specially if Featured Accesories stays like that.
But someday.. the Legion of OOO will attack and the Twilight will spawn inside a new BOX that contain PINK "NEW" COSTUMES...

Cobalt Pink
Flak Pink Jacket
and others...
And the brand new "Sandwich Head"... (same as cake head but with different color !!!)
and the twilight will worth the same as a single red shard.
