'Cos I'm ALWAYS finding dark matter and/or crimsonite in every depth I play. Don't tell me finding either or both is highly possible anyway just because 2/5 is a sizable fraction. I always encounter 'em at every depth but try not to take them 'cos fiends and because dark matter doesn't help others as much when they sell off their minerals. Am I being nudged to populate the clockworks with more fiends? Are you? I'm curious (just curious) if you're falling under this dark influence, too.
Is it just me? (this thing about minerals)

If you're getting a lot of Dark Matter and Crimsonite, then you're obviously playing too much Slime, Construct, or Freeze levels.

What? I always find Luminite to be (occasionally) the highest paying mineral - Dark Matter is usually 2 crowns.
EDIT: just realized that people with tons of Dark Matter might make this happen for me, but you never know... right?

I always seem to get this
I always seem to get this karma when I see Luminite. Luminite is my favorite mineral (Because it repels fiend levels), but I always seem to find Luminite chunks either 1 size smaller than the biggest one, or it's the smallest chunk out of the whole room.
I don't find Crimsonite and Dark Matter every depth I play. Many hoard Dark Matter just to get get 4-5 crowns per. Whenever a new gate opens, they just blow their Dark Matter in and then make the strata strongly attracted to Dark-Themed monsters because of the amount of Dark Matter trumps all other minerals.
