I was looking around for pictures of the Spiral Ward (couldn't find any) when I stumbled upon the Purple Spiral

Huh, sounds kind of like a community badge or something.

Oh! So its a community service award (I doubt that I can obtain it through my giveaway, though)
My question is:
Does anyone have it? If so, how did they obtain it?

Tevokkia, the Admin of the Spiral Knights Deviantart group has one. She also does a lot of (all the) work on Adventure is Delicious, which I run.
I don't have one myself. This makes me sad. You should come to AiD and thereby cheer me up.

It's an award individually handed out by the devs to players who have benefited the community in some way. It doesn't do anything so far other than sit in your inventory and collect dust, but iirc they're trying to find a way for people who have it to display it publicly.
