That's a surprisingly fitting explanation, especially as they just bite multiple times in a row in later tiers. They don't know how far, so they just keep biting.
and then I noticed it was t1 and realized everything in t1 acts dumb... unless its a gun puppy who actually acts smart and shoots ahead of players.
In t3 their bite attack appears to have homing and its a triple bite. So I considered their attack like the pre-nerfed Alpha Wolvers.
Funny you should say that, Validous, as they strafe after you if you're moving sideways, though you can easily go the other way or even just stop and they'll keep going. (At least as far as Tier 2 is concerned.) I regrettably have no experience with the Tier 3 variants yet as I am currently on a Recipe hunt (in this day and age?) so I haven't found the time to.
Gun puppies don't shoot ahead of players. They're just such bad shots. Stand still for once, only one out of every 4 or so shots hit you. Same goes for love puppies.
@Hexzyle I have a policy to not play anything below tier 3 so I really wouldn't remember that.

Went to Silent Legion yesterday with shard bombs.
I still don't know what their attack looks like. Either they were specifically designed to be shard bomb fodder, or Nick's assessment of them being on par with devilites was... a bit overstated.
Granted it was only T1, but I did not had time to go on T3 hunt (and still doesn't) so we split up on T1 hunt and found them in a matter of 30 seconds.
It was my first experience with the Gorgos and had to share, took a 2 min vid and took 30 mins to upload... Found them easy, not even comparable to Devilites...
I hope they get harder on T3...
