I was just thinking, as i challenged the previous shadow lair... it was not THAT hard... so i have been thinking, why not make a fourth tier, that is just pure challenge? It would be targeted towards the full five stars who want a challenge themselves. I have played PvP, and i see many people with extraordinary skill. What if there were levels that are a nice challenge, even for them? there needs to be some sort of benefit to exploring the clockworks... people are not going to go just because of compounds. I have noticed, as an old player who's been around before the missions, that NO ONE participates in the arcade anymore. I myself don't go through the arcade because it is a lot more profitable to do VANA and JK runs. This ties in with the guildhalls too, because i think that rest stops should sell unique furniture. A lot more people would venture into the clockworks in hope of finding a nice piece of furniture, the better furniture being closer to the core. In fact, i am getting really bothered by the lack of furniture variety. I own a small guild, and cannot afford a large upkeep required to obtain some good rooms/furniture, so i am stuck with the blue and white chairs, and the (ugly) red and blue ones. The events require purchase or (expensive) player sold furniture. I know guilds are expensive to have, but it does get to a point of overwhelming expenses. Please consider the small guilds.

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

Basil would sell furniture? I'm in!

T4? Check Luguiru's thread. He has all these ideas on enemy tweaks to make monsters much more horrific than pre-nerf Alpha Wolvers.

I tried suggesting something like this.
Regrettably, it got some interest and then died after a while, so... yeah?

If basil will sell furniture, then he must be renamed into "Basil - Recipes and Furnishing Merchant"

If not, then have 2 merchants, one selling recipes and one selling furnishing (Cannot be brought in Birdsong Emporium.

my 2 cents

Would be cool, having some variants of pre-existing furniture maybe?

Like a fiery bookcase... ^ ^

Or a frozen flower pot... o.O (I just blew my mind with this >.<)

Frozen/Fire/Nature(beast)/Fiend theme furniture

T'was my 2 cents

We could...

Maybe base what kind of furniture Basil has on the current stratum?
Eg. If the stratum before was a freeze stratum, Basil would have frosty stuff?
This would encourage more people to create specific stratums in the arcade to get what they want.
Also, have a star system for the furniture?
So you could only obtain rare furniture by venturing deep into the clockworks?

Node 53120 is credit to team

How about someone at the core selling a few types of furniture randomly chosen from one of a number lists based on what type the bottom strata are?

Make people head all the way to the bottom if they want furniture.

I like this mainly because players shouldn't be buying furniture till they are tire 3 and this would at least get people to do tire 3 runs. The vendor should also charge you less for each spectrum you have completed in that arcade. So if you complete tire 1 today, tire 2 the next day, on the third day you complete tire 3 the furniture would be cheaper then if you simply did tire 3. Not sure what the actual states for it to be but maybe like 5% off for 1 tire, 10% for 2 tires, and 15 or 20% off for all three.

furniture recipes

It would be cool if you can get recipes for furniture so more people would pay attention to the furniture and they would be able to make it look better. This is adding different ideas that are already mentioned, such as the star rating and it having different types of that furniture (like the brandish).
